but i did completed the trip .which took around 11 hours 30 minutes with 5-10 halts between 70-100km like that, mostly i maintained 50-60km with 4-5k RPM, but some times i drove through 70-100 for few minutes like 5-8minutes . didn't faced any issues but chain noise observed and gears giving some hard sound, and sometimes they are not changing

don't know if i screwed up my bike . through completed trip with some body pains. thank you very much for the people who encourage me to take this trip , through i never did a 30km long trip before .
Congrats on covering your first long journey. Probably you can log your journey in https://www.xbhp.com/talkies/tourer/ section.
Chain noise is there in initial days. I forgot in my earlier post to mention Clean and lube the chain before journey. It makes chain much quieter and smoother ride. This is must of any open chain bike.

    Can you add your experience,
    How is tiredness level?
How is your confidence on bike for long tour?

Your machine is much stronger than you are. Don't worry.
On highways, stress on engine is much less as you would often be running at above 50. Your engine should run in more smoothly and could be more perfect than others. Good that you have taken enough breaks.
Chain noise is nothing to worry about. Some lubing should help. Its common on new chains.

Definitely i will add my experience in tourer section.

I had little bit of neck pain and didn't took helmet so had to drive without helmet , that's bad for eyes because of dust and small sand particles hovering on highway hitting eyes hard.
but just before entering city that is 50 km to go to make 450 km ,had heavy rain and it's metro works going on so bit screwed up there. but fine now.
I prefer this bike for long tour it's comfortable and 2 best things one is back tier making bike go steadily, we won't fell bike weight because of this balancing
second one breaks are awesome. i was on 70-80 kmph and suddenly some guy changed lane suddenly in front of me , breaks really saved me .
coming to the mileage , it seems to be good ,with tank full i started the tour and still i have 2 points ,

now driving in city traffic, really horrible , that long tour is even better than driving in this traffic. bike feeling that pain while driving in traffic.
observed small new issue. some times gear is not changing even though i tried 2, 3 times. some times i have to move bike a bit to change the gear ,while in running also had this issue today gear didn't changed from 2 to 3rd please suggest me tomorrow i am planning for first service .

how many services we will get ? in booklet i have seen 3 service coupons , but on last page they printed instructions for 5 services confused

OMG you drove 450kms without helmet? It’s very risky. I don’t even ride without my helmet even if I’m going around my Home area. You have to live to ride many such trips. So please wear helmet. Also, your eye tear gland will get severely affected and cornea too get permanently damaged due to friction.

I feel this bike is good for even for a city ride. This is my experience using Unicorn for 11years. It has better turning radius than Unicorn. May be you are felling that after a very long highway ride.

Try taking bike to Service Center to get the gears issue fixed. May be it’s initial adjustment issue. If it is not getting fixed ask Honda to replace it for free.

I have opted for a extended warranty. But not sure about number of free services.

          Drive safe.

              Dear Friends,

Completed 22K on Odo. Things which we are worried about during launch doesn't matter at all. Bike never let me down in 2 years !!

Parts changed so far---- Chain Sprocket, Air Filter, Head Lamp, moved to FS oil.
Worried about - Tyre, Other fluid levels excluding engine oil, battery.

Please advice on parts to be check/changed by 22K Odo. Manual is there but hand on experience would be great help....TIA

What is the odometer reading at which the chain and sprockets were changed?

Changed around 15k. Gentle handling will keep going up to 20k.

As I posted in earlier thread, Honda didn't at all care to respond. It's so pathetic. Now I really have to think about buying Honda in future. I was optimistic about buying CBR but not now...

For cleaning chain : I am thinking of removing the chain and placing it in kerosene for a while brush it and put it back on and applying chain lube.

But i don't know how to remove chain without breaking the links.

Can anyone tell me is it possible if so how can I remove.
And is it ok if I do this.
                              Thanks in advance.

There is no need to break the links. Just remove the chain lock with a plier, do the job and while fitting - just make sure the "U" or closed end of the lock is facing the direction of travel. See:
