Was your bike parked in non-covered parking? If so check if justs have got accumulated in air filter, if the previous methods does not solves the problem else visit a local workshop.
Bike was parked in covered parking.
Please guide me how to check air filter.

When i start today, it starts with some effort using choke, but engine is stopping/shutting down regularly even after driving around 20kms.

When bike is neutral and i start engine, without accelerating engine shuts down.

Please suggest the solution for this problem.
On prolonged storage of fuel on carb bikes, the fuel enters the carb, gets dry and forms a gum (muck kind of stuff). All this is more than enough to give you handfull of problems. However a month storage is not going to give you a major problem. When you start, check the idling rpm. Is it same as stock?, kick start and also make sure you warm up the engine well. Engine shutting down can mean a lot, say fuel-air mixture incorrect or low idling or very cold engine. This problem will be gone once you start riding regularly.

Next time when you plan for long trips, turn off the petcock and empty the fuel.

It is priced at Rs. 87430 in my city.(Std version, On-Road)

Do you guys know the exact price of the accessories and extended warranty ?
I don't want to get cheated by the dealer.

And one more thing, is pillion seat really uncomfortable for ladies (with saree clad)?
If yes, then what is the solution for that ?
extended warranty is like 550 bucks
u get a seat cover / engine gaurd / grip pads / tank pads / helmet

all these r paid accesories // u can opt out from some of them..

                  Hi friends ,
Today I was called by Honda service center for customer feedback of hornet. I went to the service center and Honda officials were present along with a Japanese official ,they asked me about the problems I am facing and any improvement I would like to see in product. I said them about adding engine kill switch and DC headlight .they also has a test ride of my bike by two officials including the Japanese national , chain noise problem was solved.
I am very happy with the Honda service and also these act of taking feedback gives a feel good feeling.

Bro, I wanted to know if they will change the oil if I ask them to, the one recommended by honda. Because, I read members stating 6000 kilometers for the second service is long time for the oil change.

Sideways sitting pillions are comfortable as unicorn if you get ladies handle and foot plate fixed.

Today I asked Honda engineers about the oil change period ,he said that you can extend it till 6k without any risk to engine. He said that engine is designed differently and oil change depends upon the engine design.
They will change the engine oil if you ask them.

Guys, please stick to the manual when doing an oil change. Honda doesn't hire 10th pass people for their engineering team, it does no good to second guess them. Honda would not provide a warranty with 6k kms service interval without exhaustive testing of the bike in Indian conditions. Till date, I've heard of engines getting screwed up due to low engine oil level, never heard of a case where the engine seized due to changing oil at manufacturer recommended intervals.

Yea, but for a mineral oil it is too long I feel. The oil in the bike turned watery and was completely black (I know, it's cleaning well) by 2200km.
At around 1500km the bikes smoothness went down and around 200km later the gear shifting became harder.
Now this is just my opinion and what I experienced in my Unicorn 160.
