Recently did manali chandratal on the Himalayan, bad roads are sugar for this bike, it just loves to eat more and more. I just took position and it make the journey more beautiful.
Cons for touring are seat and heating issue. The actual temperature was 7-8 degrees and it was showing 28, will take it to the workshop for the issues.

Re: Royal Enfield Himalayan
Received a call from the service center this morning. The bugger was reluctant to call it a recall. But my Himalayan is in my stupid brother's custody for last 10 days in Rishikesh, who crossed Rajaji National Park at midnight yesterday. What a fool 😡
Anyways, I'll be taking my bike to the SC this Saturday with hopes of returning minus all the niggles.

Re: Royal Enfield Himalayan
How did it perform on the water crossings? Esp in comparison to other bullets, in case you've ridden any on such terrain. I had done a spiti leh ride last year on my C500 and water crossings were a bane.Originally posted by hellrdr View PostRecently did manali chandratal on the Himalayan, bad roads are sugar for this bike, it just loves to eat more and more. Water crossing is quite fun on it, just aim and shoot and it does not miss its mark. We had 2 tbirds and a c500 and all of them were complaining and fallingOriginally posted by vigneshnm View PostHow did it perform on the water crossings? It's a great sign that clatter noise is reducing. Can you throw some light upon the mileage developments?Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostAll free of cost. free service time remains the same , this wont come under that. The clatter has decreased alot
