Attached pic is spill onIf the hose that is attached to the thermostat is loose or the hose clamp is off you might observe mild coolant leak. From the looks of it it definitely isn't oil, it's clearly coolant. I'd suggest you guys to look at the overflow hose passage, see if it's routed wrongly or it's contorted. Because if it happens only during morning, it can be just excess coolant in tube getting spewed and it could be as simple as that. As much as Bajaj improves quality, there's still tons of room to improve where it matters.Originally posted by moorthy View PostBro this kind of scenario happens when there is small cut in hose.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

Jerry_E could only be chain lube residue or the residue of old oil, as they drain the oil after the wash and put new oil. Wipe it clean and observe for few days.
Seems like chain lube to me, as with regular lubrication we forgot to wipe of the residue form engine and gear lever side.
Also check the oil filter as that is a possible place for the leak.

In one word DOMI is VFM,
If its 70% city use like me, 6th gear will be dream.
Pros: fuel efficiency for 400cc is awesome 28kmpl in city, Highway 30+
Spare parts are affordable.
Excellent sound produced by exhaust, Engine idling feels like having super bike
Not Big its a huge bike and heavy but won't feel after rolling
Am 6.3 feet height looking for(big bike, higher cc, fuel efficiency and naked look) Domi fulfilled all,
Love the linear power triple digit are burp
Cons:
Vibration part as am coming from RE DOMI is heaven.
Bajaj service, (Not a big deal as i follow DIY)
Rattling noise, (Hope if we check our bike daily we can avoid it)

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Bro After first service (800km) am using Motul 7100 10w50w from 1000km.
One thing for sure after few km our engine oil will transform to black colour hence bajaj service center can't find whether i used motul or bajaj oil.
End of the day i need my bike as per my will.
By the way i have even changed the coolent to Motul Motocool expert, Now i never know when my domi radiator startsLast edited by moorthy; 03-30-2018, 11:58 AM.

Obviously very much, But won't feel the difference immediately. Take at least 200-300km.Originally posted by elangoas View PostOk..Great..Thanks for confirming.. Is there an improvement with Motul 7100 over stock oil..

Make sure of grade 7100 10w50w not 20w50w.
