    Hi bro

Side plugs left and right is CPR8EAIX-9 and center plug LKAR8AI-9 under the tank these plugs fits for NS200 too.

never go to workshop i use to do it by myself.

No bro no high intensity cables, After changing to iridium throttle response is excellent. for center plug no need for special tool used same tool from toolkit.

Yes it will fit but ktm levers are bit on the expensive side , u can look for some genric option too. Like moxi ones.

              1. Post service theres a lot of heating. didnt feel this much heat radiating pre service
              2. Vibes have increased around the tank region.. this is really really annoying right now because the vibes were supposed to reduce after service
              3. Cost of service 1300
              4. Exhaust Gasket needs to be changed every service which requires the exhaust to be removed. Surprised me very much.

Overall i am not feeling very happy post service. all the problems which were supposed to vanish have magnified and new problems have creeped up..
4th point is rubbish there is no need to remove the exhaust so exhaust gasket doesn't need to be changed.
Only the bottom cowl is removed to access the magnetic filter.
For heating related issue chk the coolant level and i hope they have filled the correct grade of oil.
For vibrations get the engine mounting bolts tightened up there are 3 on the right hand side.

More importantly try and change you service center and if possible get the service done in front of you.

                Hi Ijs,

Do you have any idea about the amount of torque to be applied for these bolts? I want to try it in home. But i dont know the exact torque figures for these three bolts.

                thanks in advance.

Sorry brother i don't know how much torque is needed for these bolts, what i noticed in all my 3 services is that one person did held the other end and these were tightened by a long torque tool from the other on 2 occasions.
Mostly the torque figures are mentioned on the head of the important bolts have to check that though.

Today visited the service center, and the supervisor suspected it to be oil leak and suggested me to leave the bike on Friday, for 1st servicing..

Also checked shell petrol pump for the oil aval, and found 15w 50 fully synthetic oil aval.. Rs 1,051 for a litre.. Anyone used this for Dominar here?

Was the dealer able to isolate from where the leak induced from in the first place? Secondly, the oil is the normal Advance AX7 Ultra, wrapped in a Ducati-ish wrapper, branded as limited edition. The oil is suited very well for w50 oil rated engines and w40 w.r.t ti the grades, they perform very well.

                      Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                      THE END

The Dominar servicing mechanic isn't val today & tomorrow.. Hence suggested for Friday.. Today he took a look at the oil leak and said he needs to remove the tank shrouds and thoroughly check the leak.. He also said some engine bolts might need tightening..

Thank You.. On Flipkart, i found this oil container (15w50) in a different wrapping.. But in shell pump, i found it in different wrap.. Later noticed limited edition on the wrap..

Wouldn’t recommend using 15w50 oil. Dominar requires 10w50 grade oil. There is a difference in viscosity of both oil i.e thickness and may affect pistons in engine cylinder head.

Ok.. Am technically a novice.. But have fair understanding..The difference between 10W 50 provided by Bajaj service center (Total fully synthetic oil) vs 15W 50 Shell advance oil isn't much.. 10W will flow faster then 15W in extreme conditions (or) where temperature is pretty low..

In our city (Chennai), the minimum temperature doesn't drop below 20'C (Dec-Jan).. So the Winter rating is almost negligible for our city..

Also an other advantage i see of using other oil, is that you get 1 litre bottle x 2.. After oil change of 1.5L, we would still have 500ml for top-up whenever reqd, which otherwise becomes service center dependent..

I don't think it would.. From the manual, "it is suggested to use recommended grade of 10W 50 for optimum performance & warranty benefits".. But it doesn't say should use only dtsi 10W 50 oil..

The stock oil in my bike, not sure what they filled it with (synthetic/mineral), the gear shifts are hard and doesn't feel it suits the bike..
