Manish, congratulations on your new acquisition. Just wondering about your CBR. Bolts aren't supposed to be cracking, and they aren't supposed to be cracking especially when you are torquing. There are high chances of bolts getting stuck inside their thread chamber. Get it replaced.

    Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    THE END

Thanks VJ. Sold the CBR to my friend. Didn't feel bad as I could visit her anytime, any day I wish.

Yes, the bolt is already stuck.. Have to check during first service.

BTW what happens when the ABS does not engage below 10kmph? I braked hard as soon as I took off in first gear to check this and it's behaving as if engine is knocking. Can't figure what's happening.?! Please advice.

The ABS makes weird metal knocking sounds and also the lever makes a virbration when ever the abs kicks in.. And the vibration is VERY prominent.

What do you mean by it feels like its knocking?

Yeah, weird metal knocking sounds.. Exactly.

Knocking, I mean it almost feels like the clutch is not engaged and engine is stalling.. But clutch is fully engaged.

BTW I'm talking abt the rear brake. Front I didn't try.

I tried lockimg rear at 40kmph and after you press it hard it does some khat khat sound that means abs is activated .

I've got into a few emergency braking situations already and the ABS saved me almost every time.

The front abs system is less noisy though. 😅

Does anyone have the problem of engine rpm rising to 2500 when the clutch is pressed while slowing down?

I noticed the RPM rising when the clutch is engaged, Not to 2.5k but maybe 2k RPM. This typically happens when i have been in traffic for sometime. Does not happen otherwise.

WOW!! A lot of people concerned on the panels vibration (not engine vibes) part. I am concerned too. However, isn't it normal for a bike with so much of fiber on it, a material which easily flexes, to have some amount of vibration. Does it also mean the rattles will seep in quite early compared to bikes built with metal?
My RE never had such panel vibrations, of course its all metal, the only vibrations were from the engine, which RE is infamous for.

He explained all its features, pros and cons as per his ownership experience, which was much needed to me. It is nice to meet ppl from social forum.

Glad you got to experience it and hear from an owner. So the question is , to buy or not to buy , What did you decide?

No vibrations till now.. Engine vibs are there near 4k to 5k rpm but after that bike is smooth.
These lill vibs are obvious with single pot engine.
Only thing which vibrates on my bike is front number plate. Because plate was tightened with screws and those get loose after some time. Need to change with smaller number plates(currently having high security number plate which is of full size) and better screws.

I loved bike a lot. This is will be first powerful cruiser bike buying on my own. I usually go long-drive (Usually to Coorg and Kerala) in frnds apache 160 and 180( I know maintenance of each part in this bikes). We don't speed much we are calm riders we go usually 90-95kmph in highway. Don't care any risky overtake.

I'm very lean and athletic, I felt bike is too heavy by comparing Apache180 to Dominar, lifting bike to adjust in parking place is impossible to me . I wont change bike may be next 10 years is this bike is reliable. Lack of main stand, does it concern when local mechanic in remote areas to do puncture work?
                            2. Since I'm upgrading to more powerful bike, lack of experience matters a lot while handling this bike. So I had option of Apache 200 ABS now fell love with Dominar. Don't know what need to do. Should I wait for Apache 200 or go for Dominar.

Dominar is a perfect bike for getting into bigger capacity motorcycles. It has ABS, linear acceleration, weight of big CC bikes and also handles great. If you have good riding experience, then I suggest Dominar, if not, Apache 200.

I suggest go with Dominar. Don't even think of lifting the bike mate!! It has to be moved on its wheels and adjusted. There is always a question of puncture, but, You see these are tubeless tires. They will rotate the wheel and bring the punctured part in visibility and then put in a lug. Thats about it.
You are used to riding an Apache 160/180, upgrading to 200 will not make much a difference. If you ask me the D400 would be an ideal upgrade.
