Lesson learnt: radial tyres with soft rubber is a perfect mix to make you happy and sad weekly.
Go buy yourself a tyre inflator and puncture repair kit. Because even a small piece of glass can easily ruin a good day.
Now I need to find some kind of secured saddle bag.

Yes, You could. In case u couldn't, you could be more careful. That's why I avoid the extreme left lane to cut through traffic whenever possible, even if I do I'll be extra careful. Normally glass pieces don't pierce the tyres that easily. Been living with radial tyres for more than 4 years, even had multiple punctures some times but not a single time it was flat as u said.

And be it a scooter or bike you shouldn't push it with a flat tyre as it would damage the tube/ tyre(tubeless).

You can opt for puncture free treatment for tubeless tires. They pump some slime kinda thing and make it puncture free. Costs around 2500₹. You have better things to fear about. Cheer up. [emoji3]

Riding a few kms on a flat tubeless tyre? Please don't. You may end up damaging your rim/alloy wheel.

So i looked for some mirror extenders and they were around Rs.2000 in India whereas Rs.700 in Aliexpress but it would take ages to arrive. Finally i was able to source cheap after market chinese short mirrors that came with such bolts for just Rs.200.

Where did you get the RVM extender? online or local market?
Does the battery is cappable of lit aux and main headlamp same time... No battery drain problems?

Theoretically it should be capable as the headlamp is 25w & This pair is 24w. battery drain can be noted only on long run.

Finally took the plunge and booked the Dominar. Hopefully I get a trouble free bike. I have requested the showroom to bring the bike from godown so that I can check it. Will be getting the bike tomorrow. Only thing is getting used to the riding position from a KTM RC to Dominar. 😀

Battery drain with engine running is nearly impossible with close to 100 watts of load. Some tiny Leds will not do my drain if the engine is running, not in short term or long term.

                  Aren't you a cornering junkie?
Asking because you own(ed) RC now going to a relaxed Dominar?

                  Just curious to know.

Nope. I've had my share of cornering and would like to move on to a different segment. 😀 Also with the increasing Bangalore traffic and no time to ride during the weekends, Dominar seemed the most apt choice for me.

On a lighter note, do you associate every RC owner to be a cornering junkie?

                      Yes and No.

Yes because, guys who buy a bike sensibly, if gets a RC means he must be a cornering junkie, someone who wants to improve his cornering skills.
I mean what is the other use of buying such a track focused motorcycle?

No. Because some college goers (especially first time buyers) gets RC just for the fully faired looks.

There was only choice of RC before last 1-2 years. Now situation is different and market has lots of options.
Yes rc can be used as daily commute bike easily provided you use it frequently and get used to riding position.

                          Yes.
One can use RC for daily commute, but for that Dukes are there right?

What if one likes the RC better than the Duke but has no money to buy another daily commute bike?

Rather than class of bikes, ₹₹ is more important. That's why you see Duke 390 and Activa on Ladakh Leh. Otherwise everybody would have 3-4 bikes minimum.

                              Yes dukes are there.
But very few afford to keep both Duke and rc at a time.
The performance of rc on highways and ghats is so impressive that i can bear her in daily traffics also.

                                Thats what i said.
Some buy just because they like it, rather than taking what is their primary need with the bike into consideration.
