Also a few days back i had posted about some weird metallic noise, post which i replaced the chain. But the noise still persists. Any pointers towards the same?
Chain produce different sounds depending on the load. A properly lubed and slack chain will produce mild "sszzzz" sound when being run, which is perfectly normal. I'd recommend you to clean your chain for dust, clean the sprocket covers, relube and get the chain slack adjusted and keep your observations posted. From, what I feel it shouldn't be an issue, only a sound byte can help us give a more clear idea.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
sujithbvm - if you have personal contacts in that showroom there are chances of a workaround. In case you are a walk in then the entire buying process is the same as any other showroom in Bengaluru. May I ask what is worrying you?
Please note that the dealer won’t invoice the bike unless the loan is approved, hence the delay in delivery.

I am worried that once I choose the bike for which the loan has to be approved, it will sit in the showroom for registration for some days which I don't want to do.
If possible I want to do the whole process in one day which they are saying is only possible if you do one shot payment without any finance option or loan.
If you wish to take the bike on the same day, then you will need to arrange for finance from a different source; take a personal loan or an auto loan from your bank and pay the dealer in full. Like I said earlier the dealer won’t invoice the bike till the time he is paid in full.
I had bought a 200(2012), 390 (2015) and a Ninja 650 (2014) via Bajaj Auto Finance from KTM Indiranagar, I had no chose but to leave the bike with the dealer till the time the entire process (loan+RTO) was complete (I don’t own any those bikes now). Before taking delivery of the bike I did a PDI to ensure I got the bike of my chose, everything checked out right.
I suggest you arrange for finance from your bank, pay the dealer in full and take the bike.
I see two options:
1) personal loan - take a personal loan (interest rates are cheaper nowadays) and pay for the bike in full. Advantage is the bike won’t be hypothecated.
2) auto loan from your bank - this is little cumbersome process, you will need to approach your bank with a pro-forma invoice from the dealer. Produce all necessary documents to your bank for loan process and approval. Pay your bank the difference amount(OTR-loan approved amount), then your bank will prepare a demand draft in favour of the dealer and hand it over to you. You can then approach the dealer for one day delivery of the bike.
Please note that your bike will be hypothecated to your bank, you may need to provide some more documents to your bank post RTO registration.
Now if you have a FD, then take a loan on it to pay for the bike - similar to a personal loan.
Hope this helps!! Do let us know if have any other questions.

Wow dude.
Thanks a lot for the detailed information on the purchase 👌👌
Since you have got so many bikes from ktm indiranagar, is it ok to leave the bike with them for a couple of days while the loan and rto formalities get over??
Also I m going to through the below thread for PDI work.
I don’t see any issues in leaving the bike with the dealer till the time the entire process is completed. I haven’t faced any issues, having said that I am not sure if the same people are employed now with whom I interacted then. If anything happens to the bike during the loan approval process the dealer will be liable. And you will have the choice of picking another bike or changing the dealership.
To safe guard your interest, I suggest the following:
1) select the bike of your choice
2) pay the down payment amount
3) take photos of the bike with chassis and engine number
4) if possible ask the dealer to park your bike away from other bikes
5) if you are permitted, cover your bike with your own cover (not sure if the dealer will permit you to do this)
6) take note of the kilometres run
7) ask the dealer if you can take the bike along with their representative for RTO registration
You are free to change the above order as you please.

pchetan2 - no this isn’t normal. didn’t the radiator fan kick in before the warning sign? If it didn’t then get your bike to the service at the earliest.
