I did not have any accessories either on the 200 or the 390. On the 650, I changed the brake pads to EBC, replaced the stock brake lines to steel braided once, installed puig frame protectors. I’d like my bikes to be stock, if not almost stock. While you plan for bike accessories, I suggest you priorities on riding gear for yourself. I don’t shop from Ali express hence have no experience or leads to share with you.

1.Yes, radiator guard is a must and more than the fork crash protectors I would have got a fork dust protector(reduces the chances of broken oil seals significantly).Originally posted by sujithbvm View PostAny pointers on the immediate accessories for the Duke like radiator guard, fork protectors.
2.Try if you can get a screen protector of some sort for the TFT display, it tends to get messy with a period of time with full of scratches.
3.Paddock stand if you are into self servicing.
4.Upgrading the stock horn to dual setup will be helpful for highways as stock ones are not much of a use at highway speeds.
You can look save the fork crash protectors, frame sliders, swing-arm sliders as 2nd round of accessories. I haven't seen any of windscreen work and make a big difference in terms of wind deflection on any of the 390's I have ridden which had them installed, also it messes the looks(personal choice).
Tail tidy is personal choice again, I like the stock look more, it also saves your rear tail lights and tyres by acting as a barrier when rear ended by a car/bike during emergency braking since with help from ABS we usually tend to a complete stop quickly which others vehicles fail to match (had experienced it twice, once a car Nissan Micra without ABS and another time a Pulsar again without ABS, both the time the rear number plate and reflector part took the hit and got mangled pretty bad and changed them for less than Rs.150) without which either impact would have been directly taken by rear tyre or tail section which would have been more expensive.Bajaj SuperFE 150 - Forever in my heart

Because that my ride app defaults to google music app. It's mentioned under the description on playstore.Originally posted by karan-mishrap View PostNeed help guys, I own a OnePlus 3t with Android 8.0 and the duke 390 software is up-to-date and have installed the my ride app too, whenever I try to play music using apps like Amazon/ganna/Jio etc the mobile takes me back to Google music,
This is kind of off topic but thought this is the right forum as most of us must have come across this issue.
Steps I have tried, removed Google music.... uninstall and unpaired mobile Bluetooth and my ride app.....have flashed the mobile with beta version
Everytime it takes me to Google music or will take me to play store Google music page to download it

Changing the brake pads is also on mind. Sintered brake pads are on a different level.Originally posted by JN8304 View PostI did not have any accessories either on the 200 or the 390. Thanks for the detailed explanation. Radiator guard is a must for Bangalore owing to the metro construction happening all around.Originally posted by kiran2508 View Post1.Yes, radiator guard is a must and more than the fork crash protectors I would have got a fork dust protector(reduces the chances of broken oil seals significantly).

I have seen a unique and good setup on the Apache 200 4V where the forks are protected by a unique design which protects them from oncoming dust.
Upgrading the horn is a must too in Bangalore traffic.
Thanks once again for the insight on tail tidy. Its a very valid point which you have stated.Seem like i will leave it as it is for now.Might just remove the sari guard.
Does anybody use S9 plus with there Duke 390? Does it function correctly as intended ?

Re: 2017 Duke 390 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Guys how safe it is ride for just one day without registration ?
I know its a risk I am taking but getting delivery on a good day is also equally important.
The reason is because the RTO is on leave due to the festival.
I will just ride from the showroom to the temple for Pooja and then to my apartment.
I will get registration the next day.
Please comment.

Re: 2017 Duke 390 Owners Reviews and Experiences
One day is pretty ok okish as long as you keep it less than 10kms city limits without registration, even a week is fine if you have a insurance from day 1, get a temp registration and insurance 1 day before both of which are valid for 30days and both can be done online(actual temp and not TC temp both are different). Insurance is must if not reg/temp-reg.Originally posted by sujithbvm View PostGuys how safe it is ride for just one day without registration ?

Re: 2017 Duke 390 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Absolutely you can. As long as it doesn't exceed the 150 kays mark. A temp registration sticker along with valid insurance is all you need. A motorcycle that is sans the insurance shouldn't be taken delivery do keep that in mind. 99% of the showroom provide delivery only after insuring the vehicle so there's nothing to worry about.Originally posted by sujithbvm View PostGuys how safe it is ride for just one day without registration ?

Give these fellas a try, you might problem lock in.
For visor, the older lots had quite a few visors available from MRAs to Puigs to even jugaad fixes. For the newer 2017 ones, you can make a jugaad fix of the CBR 250R which is suitable for both older and newer lots.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

Enjoying the bike to the fullest now. Very difficult to keep it under 70 km per hr in the running period.
Its like as it has been said many times on this forum, the bike is a beast which wants to unleash itself all the time.

Thank you for the details.
Also keeps revs always below RPM1 rather than maintaining below some certain km/hr, do not exceed the set RPM1 when the shift light starts to blink.
And yes, the bike teaches you and needs lot of self control and patience
