Hey guys. A quick update. Completed 200 KM's today. Got bike on 10th of this month. Went on a little highway ride. Kept varying the speed though. When I took delivery of bike, the high speed was 77 kmph. So I thought to try 80 kmph for a moment. So while returning, I slowly reached 80 kmph and then slowly decreased the speed. I guess that is fine. There was little buzz on handle bars but no vibes on tank or foot pegs.
And calculated the mileage too. I know it's too early and I shouldn't​do that. But hey... That's what I did.
So, I changed the fuel tank on delivery day at there were scratches on original tank. After tank change, they poured approx 1 liter petrol. I filled up 4.8 liters petrol from shell petrol pump. That sums up to 5.8 petrol. As the petrol poured in service centre was approximate, i consider it as 6 liters or petrol. We have 2.5 liters as reserve. So usable petrol was 3.5 liters approx. I did 167 kms before hitting reserve. So 167/3.5 gives 47.7 KM's.
That's great mileage. I know it's very approximate but just wanted to share.
Now will again share when I hit reserve again. After hitting reserve, I set trip 1 at 0.0 and filled 5 liters of petrol. Let's see.

40-45 is it 3k rpm. 50-52 is around 3.5-4 k rpm

As other users have mentioned the exhaust sound after riding is normal. It's the sound of metal contracting.

Other than battery there will be tubes for crankcase breather, draining rain water collected near fuel filler cap etc.

My previous 110CC bike had this tik tik sound and I know its normal, but I never noticed in 1604V so far. When I read about it there were some comments like 4 valve engines may not produce this sound. But looks like they may produce the sound as well. But again my 1604V did about 1900 kms and I havent heard this tik tik noise so far.

Yeah i meant the same tik tik sound after stopping the engine post a long ride.. For some reason i never hear it from my 160 4v!

Yes I have it but it's due to new the new machine I guess but it's fine as I m able to see some reduction in heat issue with machine


Hi all, I'm new to this xbhp. Hope this will be a very good platform to connect.

I have taken a dual disk - 160 4v (red). Bike feels amazing, braking is also good.
But I think the engine becomes very hot. It is like a oven after I come from office (14kms ride, medium traffic). Heating is the only concern and I've asked the service centre, they said the same thing (new engine - all parts new and all that) however on stressing it is too hot even for a new engine, they asked me come and they would do a heat test something. Well I'm planning to go this Saturday for that.

Please note : I don't drive rash and yeah I follow break-in and haven't crossed 60kmph yet.

Let me know if you all faced the same problem.
