            Welcome to the Tribe bro.....the RTR is an excellent bike...it is just a Hooligan on the roads.....I just bought the RTR on Jan1st and I am very very happy I bought the bike....just the sheer pleasure of biking is RTR man...nothing else can match it....
            It has a very good low end torque also and the high end torque is awsome....so you enjoy riding in any speed.....
            Just go ahead and buy it you will never regret....

              hey menacers....my bike's tank had a small leakage...i didnt even noticw since there was some orange colour on tank near fuel tap....but late i came to know it was due to leakage of fuel....i got replaced my tank in one day....its cost is arround 4500...but i got it free....i got new tank...feeling like new bike....I proudly say that service in pune's mauli auto is very good....they are very responsive....just get ur bike any time they will test drive and will return within same day with problem solved.

                    • thanks man....RTR was my fav bike 4m day 1...i wld have bght a 160 if 180 wldnt have existed....i know there are lot of gliches in 160 which has been rectified in 180..but still then i love the 160...mainly coz due to the weight distribution and flickabilty of the bike...its riding position is also perfect...

                      • I have one doubt..

                        rtr 160 FI is a mere 1000 bucks more that 180....then why shouldnot i go for that..considering the fact that wid the FI i will be having the same performance say after 2-3 years from now as it is 2day..which will be unlike the RTR 180..as its a carburrated one...so there got 2 be a decline in perfomance after say 2-3 years...

                        i know 160 Fi is having the same drawbacks as of a 160 refresh...ike its vibration and slight instability at bumpy roads..and not 2 forget the performance of the rear discs...

                        but considering the retainment of the performance for the following years 2 come..and the mileage...why shouldnt one go for 160 FI ??...

                            +++1 for that

                            @pritish;
                            irrespective of cosmetic changes, mechanical changes on 180 other than RTR 160 series are:
                            1. heavier handlebar weights
                            2. high LPM oil pump
                            3. 57.2 stroke crank,
                            4. 62.5 dia bore and piston
                            5. larger exhaust
                            6. BS-29 carb and larger dia minifold
                            7. 46/13 sprocketing
                            8. longer swing arm
                            9. stiffer rear suspension (i doubt abt this)
                            10. smaller rear wheel
                            11. wider rear tyre
                            12. Nominal change in front fork (geometry is same. its replaceable with RTR160)

                            @all: please add if i have forgotten anything, and correct it i am wrong.

                              above are direct quotes from BIKEINDIA.so i guess it says it all.

                              Longer wheelbase aids to highspeed stability.

                              2. the Vibes are less compared to the RTR 160.
                              the damper at the end of handle bars are modified to bigger ones..refer the manual.

                              3. i got friends with rtr 160..and i find the gear shifts are not as smooth
                              as in RTR 180.

                              who on earth gave you this theory???

                              U dont have to fiddle with carb screws to adjust the air/fuel mixture and idle speed for the years to come...EFI simply works better with this respect as its controlled by sensors and computers all the time...so i guess u never exprience a drop of performance in the sensors and the computers ! ! !...its reliable too..considering ur ECU is trobule free and have no trobules in mapping and all ! ! !

                              thats what i meant by stating that the performance of a FI will be more cosistent than a Carburrated one ! ! !

                              NO OFFENCE MEANT TO ANY 160/FI or any 180 riders....coz i myself have booked a 180 over a FI ! ! !
