      Hey guys,

I couple of days back I changed by Apache's rear chain- spork-set. Mechanic told me that chain is too tight and it will eventually get loosen after two days of riding.. Now I'm hearing some scratching sound near gear peddle. and due to that my engine's sound has changed now. could you let me know what could be the reason.

Check the chain slack at a point halfway between the front and rear sprocket.. Should be 2-3cm approx. Most probably Your chain is tight, get it loosened..
Btw how many km did the previous chain sprocket set last?

12k? :O isn't that too early? Do you lube the chain regularly?

You can use 300v without any problems. Btw clutch slippage is due to worn out clutch plates. It has nothing to do with brand/grade of engine oil.

Hey guys, I have around 6k old RTR 160. On the last servicing, I was planning to put TVS synthetic oil, but due to the supervisor's mistake, they put standard tru4 oil.

After reading few reviews here about the TVS synthetic oil, I am confused about using it.

Should I give it a try? Or can I put Shell AX7 or any other oil you guys can suggest since my RTR is just 6k old?

Shell ax7 is the most suitable oil for rtr.. The tvs synthetic oil is w30 grade so it may loose its viscosity during long rides or when engine heats a lot. Stick to w40 grade.
No harm in trying out the tvs synthetic oil though..

Go for Shell AX7 its semi-synthetic best for RTR 160. I use the same for my Red Beast. it gives smooth gear control and reduce vibration.

I think the sound is coming from somewhere near the engine.

I strongly recommend you to see the RTR 180 manual for storage procedures of your RTR 180. It has a very good explanation that anyone else could do. Ride safe!
