Dumbass svc guy says truck tyre at 32 psi is same as bike tyre at 32psi:banghead:

hello everyone..Are the latest RTR-160 complete DC??
Im thinking of DC'fying my RTR-Hyperedge. If the latest ones are 160, I think this conversion can be done by the service center people itself.

A friend owns one says its dc all around and thats what I noticed with the bike too, obviously ignition etc are dc with all the pumos and injectors there, but headlights were not dc? Have to ask him if he got headlights modded,
Apart from headlights anything left that can be ac?
I will ask and confirm.

Hey guys,
Going crazy about the bike. Odo 6k, motul 300v fs oil 100kms old, stock filter after 2k kms with k&n. Changed the engine oil and back to stock filter on the same day. This is the present setup of my bike. Now the queries starts
1. At 9k with toooo much strain bike tries to touch 119kmph.
2. In 5th gear from 5k rpm it takes longer time that a activa guy overtook me
3. After oil change felt the engine smoother, but now it feels engine is straining too much, can't get exactly what problem it is.
4. Rear brakes feels like that they will either lockup or won't do any job
5. Can't feel the working of ABS anymore
6. When upshifting gear doesn't shift smoothly, it locks up in between two gears and I have to release the clutch and reengage to shift up.

Not sure what happened to her, SVC aren't doing any justice for the cash we pay. Pl help me what might be the problems am trying to find a local mech from friends so that it will be easy for me explain to him.

Change engine oil filter, check tps and get carb cleaned, did you upjet with knn? Then return to stock jets with stock filter, try changing your petrol bunk and please find a good guy who can tune your carb,
Chain should be adjusted and lubed, check valve clearance (valves also take a beating with knn amdnfree flow exhausts)
Clutch cable adjustment should be made, for abs you need to see your svc but try bleeding and replacing brake fluid.
Grade of oil? Shift to ax7 10w40 once, wet the oil filter in 100ml oil before hand,
Switch abs on and of restart bike ride and slamm on the brakes, wait 10 to 20 seconds for abs to re calibrate then ride on.

All this dosent help
Then

Go to a sadhu baba and do jhaadh phook
Relax dude, your bike will be fine. Smile, it just needs a little thorough once over.

So you guys mean to say RTR FI is part DC and part AC. So the question is if i need to install projector lights on my bike why do these mechanics say i need to get a DC setup on the bike?

Oil filter changed, jet changed to stock, chain adjusted and lubed, carb set, clutch adjustment done, tappet adjusted day before yesterday but after 10kms or so the tappet sound started again, brake fluid also changed two days back and bleeding done, no difference
will change the petrol bunk this time.
What to check regarding tps??
Valve clearance meaning, tappet adjustment??

Tappet sound is coming since you must have adjusted on a hot engine:banghead:
Do it on an engine thats cold raat bhar se! Stone cold!
If you have to call the mech home on a morning or keep the bike at svc for 3 hrs and above and ask them to do it then.

Rtr tps is faulty sometimes, ask someone here if there is a way to clean it or to check ot, not really sure.
Yes I ment tappet adjustment,
Try to do what I said, to get the abs to recalibrate

Engine cold mate, even mech put his finger inside the adjustment port :banghead:
So for the abs I start my bike then turn it off and restart my bike ride and slam in the brakes and wait for some seconds and ride normal??

Yesterday I asked the SVC guyz if the current crop RTR 160cc is complete DC.
As per him only RTR-180cc-ABS is the only model with complete DC. ajextreme As you mentioned I too feel the FI version is not complete DC. If thats the case when you give the battery(if its not dry cell) for recharging or some maintenance stuff then this Fuel Injection will go wrong. Have you ever felt so?
Srinivaas I would also suggest you to change the carb diaphragm if the time taken to speed up is really too high. But that is the last thing you should look. First check whatever divyansh150 mentioned in his checklist.
