I would be more content if, I get to ride some other Apache and find out that it is lunatic too!Originally posted by rennycornelius View PostThat 'Roughness' has its charm !
RTR always reminds me my days of two strokes, loud, rough, vibrations and all !
Long time, Renny! How 're you managing without 2-wheels, mate?! Phew!

Pick up a second hand Ninja, man. OT!
One thing I understood as soon as I got on my Apache - if you want it to perform at its peak all the time, you gotta either be a grease monkey or hire a personal mechanic!

If only my bike looked like this....
.....
Ah! What a life it 'd have been!

Got my self starter motor replaced under warranty, but for that he opened up one way clutch to check if its faulty for some noise during starting the bike. Now noise is sorted out , but gear box has become rough
Already running full synthetic oil ! Clutch play is also OK, what should be done ?

Yes it can be done. If you are familiar with setting it yourself on P180 its not that different, else take it to mech or refer manual for a DIYOriginally posted by rakesh_ic View Postcan clutch play be adjusted to have the full press?? for now its only half the press and i am habituated to the full press clutch play on my previous P180Last edited by kantu; 05-06-2012, 11:27 PM.site:xbhp.com keyword -> Google this to dig up stuff in xbhp faster

I've a peculiar problem. I replaced my rear disc plate as they were nearing the end of its service life. A few hundred kms later, replaced the disc pads also. And this pad started giving this slight but irritating squeaking noise when tyre rotates forward. I thought it was duplicate pads since any amount of cleaning, overall etc would not solve it. So last friday got a new pad set and replaced. Now this has also started squeaking....
Anyone else facing this?

Sensor cable which is giving signal to ABS is broken from inside
Or on the worst part something went with your ABS
Get it replaced under warranty
