Riding/Shifting between 4k and 5k rpm provides optimum fuel efficiency.

I fitted the K&N R1060 filter to my menance. It is directly connected to the carburator. And I did not upjet, the mech just tuned the carb. For me, not upjetting has not caused any problems, unless I go above 11k rpm... But if you have a good mech who knows what he is doing, upjetting is recommended...

if the bike is running good with the stock jet setup then thr is no need to upjet it,as RTR hardly makes any power beyond 10200..

                            • @ ameyashogun: Most of the people tells 'White Angel' for rtr180 white you are telling " White Ghost "
                              Why ?

LOL... nothing much happening buddy... other than the number in the odo climbing fast...
Did couple of long rides >800kms... Even high speed long rides also return not less than 38kmpl.... and the k&n sound is good for turning heads when needed... Theres been a slight wobbling at the front.... but got that fixed from SVC at 4th service... Performance-wise the bikes been really stable... I'm just content....
Then, due to non-availability (yes, its true) of synthetic oil here, i'm yet to change.... but will buy a couple of cans of Motul on my next visit to Cochin.

I disagree bro... in my experience, even before and after I fixed the K&N, the bike still used to pull beyond 10k range.. though the acceleration is not as much as the peak power rpms, its still there...
But then, this issue is not much of a problem as I can push that far only on deserted highways...
