Yes it's a direct fit and also the specs are the same. So no issues of mileage-drops!!Originally posted by chamu_666 View PostDo we get 110 size tyres from MRF for Apache..
I have a friend who is looking for a tyre change, Mileage gonna drop by changing the tyre??

That dazzler one , right?
Nops, it's a 17 incher tubeless.Originally posted by haxor View Postwill the dazzler's rear tyre fit into RTR 160 ? ?
I have ridden the Dazzler for 30-35kms on highway and found it to be neutral. But couldnt check it's 'on-wet' surface performance!!

Switched to 5w40 300V Today.
The front disc was completely screwed up courtesy the sea beach riding which i did a month back. The sand and muck trapped between the pads scratched out the whole disc and the surface turned uneven and used to make super screeching noise while in motion.
Replaced the brake pad. Fairing visor tightened.Labour charge:30 bucks only!!
300V cost:840
Brake Pad:340
The front disc plate was replaced under warranty!!( I love TVS!!

Lolz..What is even more funny that they insist us on replacing the parts under warranty rather than other way round!!Originally posted by Drifty View Post+1...lucky guy he is....to get everything changed under warranty......

Yeah same here...after 110..definitely ! ! !
Originally posted by chicane1879 View PostIt wasn't a steep slope. A gradual one. And the way the speedo climbed when i shifted to 5th was a 'sight'. Reached 135km/hr in no time.
The rear tyre is acting funny(not skidding). I cant take longish corners now at triple digit speeds. The rear feels bouncy and unsettled while cornering. Will have to switch to the 110-spec MRF. Enquired at MRF Exclusive outlet here and it costs 1820 only.
The bike completed 16000kms yesterday!!
Is it ok to use synthetic engine oil of alternate specs(as Recommended is 20W40)Originally posted by chicane1879 View PostSwitched to 5w40 300V
I have recently switched to Shell Advance Fast Trac 20W40...for my 3rd Service..will post the reviews after a month.
Are there any Semi Synth. or Semi Synth avialable with the recommended specs??
Congrats..

Yes the recommended rating is 20W40. But you can use oils of different grade but just make sure the last two digits is 40. The initials can be different.Originally posted by pritish View Post

In Semi-Synthetic you have the ones from Shell and Veedol Super Swift(Covered 8500kms on this oil, its very good), 5100T(10W40)
and in FS you have 300V, Power1 Racing and Petronas Sprinta
EDIT: It's Motul 10W40 300V FS which the bike is currently running on and not the 5W40.
