If it has any option of getting readings from anywhere else, then mine shouldn't have stopped working. Agree?
@Garry/Drifty: This info is true only for the ABS version and not for the Menace. If you want to confirm, place the 180 ABS on center stand, slot into the first gear and see the speedo/odo. I own the ABS version Just 650 km old. Please see pictures and a short review I've posted somewhere earlier in this thread.

Welcome to the club! A whole load of people have gone through the same ordeal. The mechanics are always like that! Anywho, lucky you in Chennai! Hope they fixed the other issues, though!!

            carb inlet

throttle position sensor under the tank

Remove the sprocket by using a 8 size bit and rachet and then get the sprocket out of the drive shaft. Once done, pour some diesel on to a waste cloth and get the shaft cleaned neat. Grease the sprocket inners and place it back and see the magic.

              • How did it get in there? damn... Removing the sprocket is easy if you have a #8 box spanner or nut driver. Just engage the gear into first, remove the screws, rotate the sprocket holder and then just pull it out - after removing the chain ofcourse.

when putting it back, clean the area and apply some good quality grease like Nulon. It looks like there is some rust there in the pic.

will search for 8 size spanner. and do it ,and how to reapply the chan on front sprocket.have to lose it or do it like cycle one means fix a link in sprocket and rotate the wheel.

was the sprocket of pulsar was direct fit.and after re assemble of 15 t sprocket dose the chain need to be lose a little bit. i was thinking of that but mine is stock and no where near your mutant rtr. will it be able to pull like stock one.

I met the manager at the head office of my dealer and we had an arguement. Later, he agreed to tighten the bolts which connect the engine with the chassis, make my afr rich and tightened the speedo console for vibrations and everything was done fast. The mechanic then took me for a drive and ripped her hard. The bike now feels peppy and begs to be revved. I'm kind of happy with the new adjustments. But i notice an increase in engine noise and tappet noise. Is this normal or am i ruining my engine?

Like i mentioned in an earlier post, the 15T sprocket is a direct fit. But you also need to buy a new sprocket holder, and nuts to fit it properly. And no, the 'pulling' aka acceleration drops, and its "takes more time to reach there"

BTW... guys I fixed the 'Auto Throttle' feature. . Routed the cable to the carb via the right side of the frame under the tank, and crossed over to the left side just behind the engine.
