Yes,more practical than the R15 anyday.I have no issues with quality or vibrations.What I want to get rid of is bad/inefficient A.S.S!

I guess,you cannot retrofit the ABS.Read it in OD mag where TVS officials were asked about the same..

I've just started to use this oil, in fact from last week only. I think the engine is running more smoothly, and is not getting as hotter as before
BTW, i found from another thread that after around 500km riding, oil level might drop by 100ml approx, and you've got to top it up I think you ride a lot and that might be the reason... But if the drop is much more than that, you should take the bike to the SVC

Bought OD mag and very much enjoyed the performance of RTR 180 around the track.
So very close to the YZF R15 in lap times plus getting more star rating than the P220F and the ZMR, both having extra 40CC's is indeed a big deal !!!

He said wiring harness, magneto would need replacement. harness was about 3k something and magneto under 600rs. though he was not sure if other parts would be needed.

420 rs..for stock rear fender.

Pics with 120/80 rear tyre on rtr 180. the main stain does not retract easily because the new tyre is about 8 mm higher than standard one so the tyre touches the ground much earlier and robs the momentum needed to completely fold up the stand. Other than that road holding and straight line stability is much improved. Slight pick up loss. Still running in so wont know much about it too

Yes he said about the charger too. will have to call him in a few days as some parts were not available. but still cant use higher wattage bulbs as even the new setup supports only 35W lamps. IMO rr replace and rewinding is the only viable option, if you don't care about warranty.

Dunno what to do, seems like the speedo has gone kaput. Dont want to replace the speedo again. Will lose 17000 kms of odo reading!!

got back my bike from svc......i replaced the lock set costing rs906(i had lost both my keys)i had told my other complaints also.my rpm needle vibs are gone thank god! but the tappet sound and the vibration sound (trrrrr trrrr) from the key slot.i had told them to adjust the tappet clearance and still they havent done it.vibes have also increased! will go the svc again tommrow

Hello Everyone!! I have seemed to missed a lot it seems!! Had been out of station and had traveled there on My bike itself!! So kinda enjoyed the ride too!!
But Would need some help guys!!
Before en route,I had given My Bike for first servicing. Had specifically warned the the SVC guy that I'll be driving on highways(and I meant like national express highways) , so couldn't risk bike stopping or any other driving issue. But damm them!! When I started the tour on next day, shifting to 4th and 5th gear was terrible!! Had to press hard to do so and could hear sound of shifting with a helmet on!! What is this problem related to? Means does it concern with the Oil? I had changed the oil at first servicing , but that damm guy at SVC used TRU4 only!! Said that he will not use any other oil, whatsoever!!
Then later on, I have started to hear a particular sound from rear of bike. It's like as if the mud flap or the number plate is flapping. But both of them seemed impossible as I checked and they were tight. So any guesses where the sound is from. Also, it's not continuous.
Also, one morning as I was going out, none of the unit would startup!! No light, display,indicators nothing!! Then shaked a few wires near the battery and it came on!!
All this and after first servicing!! Dunno what I'll be experiencing in future!!!

P.S. : Was driving at 50km/hr, all along route as I'm still in Run in period.
