Guys Whts your opinion about using extra premium petrol.heard that it cleans carburetter and fuel lines
And can we use grease on chain for lubrication

I use light grease when i wash in kerosene and SAE 90 for afterward lubrication.
premium petrol only have less carbon than unleaded, but company recommend to use unleaded only, dont know why!
but air screw then needs to be adjusted coz fuel burning efficiency changes.

Does not make any difference in these engines which have low compression ratio !!!

But i've tested it increase ur mileage by 5 + kms really!

How many times did you check that ? My splendor does not take very well to high octane petrol, don't know why.

About 10 times, but the day when i fill with unleaded i experienced the low mileage. May be that AFR needs to be adjust (i've read in some website it should be adjust when fuel changes) because power/speed might burns faster than unleaded due to lesser carbon.

It was 70+ and even reached 75 and touched 80 also one time dont know how.
But now a days i'm experiencing low as my bro study in bhubneswar comes every 1-2 months interval and abuses my bike a lot, pull the full throttle and fill with unleaded every time and i hate that he dont even care off
also compression is loosing i'll open my head, all the parts have bought only some sand papers, valve lapping compound & suction cup is left.

Pinaki Ji that's the same method i use , wash bike then apply collinite & buff it before it dry . Only thing is application & buffing off is in opposite direction to each other . If one in clockwise then other in anticlockwise .

Yes that would be good to be localised ( like Water/Pani " Pani re pani tera rang kaisa , jisme milaya hua usake jaisa " ) , but only Formula 1 wax is available in shops here , which are mostly fakes . So i bought collinite from an authorised importer located at delhi .

What i usually do is that i change to fourth gear at 30 kph and slowly increase the speed. Now what happens is that in fourth gear when my bikes touches 40 kph in fourth gear it starts to pull very rapidly, you will feel as if the bike is fitted with turbo charger. The sound deepens and the speedometer rises at a rapid rate. In a few seconds the meter crosses 70 kph and still also pulls like crazy.
Yesterday i just changed the air filter and cleaned the float bowl. From today the bike feels so crazy to pull that i am so excited. It is a fun watching the bike enter the power zone and pull away from other bikes.
It feels so powerful that now my extreme feels lazy.
I can't express exactly the feeling, i am thinking of shooting a video but do not know how to shoot while riding.
Even all here will be amazed who think splendor series engine are not good in performance.My bikes pulls so sharp that you will think it is in 2nd gear even though it is in 4th gear.
The USHA bore kit has completed 2.5k after change.
The rating is mind blowing. Just read my above review regards to pick-up. My bikes engine is complete free and will put most 125 cc to shame.
While changing the bore kit the bike was running on shell AX7 and thus oil was not changed as oil was good. After 400 km i changed to motul 3000 4T plus 20w 40 and am continuing with same oil. This time i will change to semi-synthetic and post the review.
If my bike is pulling like this in mineral 20W 40 oil then i think what will happen when i shift to 10W 40 oil.
Today i had taken to work my joy. All know that a distance of 80 km one way. So i happen to explore the performance thoroughly.
I just pulled to 45 kph in third gear and shift into fourth. The speedometer will rise so rapidly that you will feel happy to see it. After 1 year today i decided to test the top speed once again and see that my baby after 12 years can still put a smile on my face.
Usually here most of them pull in lower gears to achieve top speed.
But in my joy i just shift to fourth and pull.
So today since my work place has 60 km of highway i just gunned the engine.
The speedo touched 100 kph without any effort and still had accelerator left and i chickened out.
I am sure it would have touched 110 kph.
Today i am very happy that my baby can still put newer bikes to shame when comes to performance. Also it can keep up with bigger bike while cruising.
You can see from my post that i am too happy to express anything. Today i think i will not be able to sleep because of too much happiness.
A 100 cc 4 stroke engine crossing 100 kph is surely amazing. My bike always crossed 100 kph but for past 1 year i have not tested because it is growing old. But today just i decided to give the stick.

Didn't I also tell you about sudden increase in performance of my splendor in a PM earlier???
You told it is due to rich mixture,I think it may be due to this oil-MOTUL 3000 4T plus along perfect carburetor tuning and riding habits..

All I can say that you have broken-in your joy's engine in the best way possible,tuned the carburetor perfectly..Enjoy it !!!!!

I want a TEST RIDE !!!!!!!!!!!,waiting for the day to TD your bike.

My splendor(17k kms on odo) is able to do
15kmph in 3rd and 20kmph in 4th gear that to at lowest idling RPM.
Even in 4th gear it picks-up very smoothly from 10 kmph.
This I am noticing from last few months but sudden increase in performance just a week ago so posting it here.

Previously(read From 2006 to April 2012) it used to knock at those speeds but now nothing like that now......

What has been changed since then(From April 2012) ?
-Oil- Motul 3000 4T 20w40.
-Carburetor tuned.(sibun's method)
-Few long highway runs at 80+kmph (Please note-My splendor is mostly used in city that to at speed less than 40kmph)
-New champion spark-plug.
-New air-filter.
-Proper cleaning of chain done by removing and immersing it in kerosene and then in SAE 90 gear oil overnight.

I tuned the carburetor by listening to the sound of the engine where the RPM is maximum.(Followed Sibun's method)

A perfectly tuned carburetor will give maximum mileage and power.

Can anyone post the gear ratios of splendor ???

My bike is opposite, its rise slowly after 60
Its good to hear it can cross 100 kph but i think its only good for testing only. Taking a 100 cc bike to 100 and above can be risky and can have a bad effect on the engine. I'd not recommend. Its good to know but driving on low speed a bit can have a better engine life.

What? how a lubrication thing can increase your acceleration?

A good oil will help in better sealing of combustion chamber thereby increasing performance,mileage,reducing blow-by etc..
