Welcome friend and do update us if that solves the issueOriginally posted by TwilightRider View PostThanks gyan_recl350, I will get one more rubber pad for the center stand. I tried twisting the clamps myself, but the silencer was going completely out of line.

Re: Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Owners Experiences
OMG! How's that happening???? I am hearing it for the first time. It's a serious issue. Go for a well renowned ASS and fix it ASAP. I don't think you will get warranty for the chain cover, but ask them. Hope everything clears out.Originally posted by TranquilRageGuys, having lots of problems with nuts & bolts falling off the bike. Right now found that one is missing from the plastic cover that covers the chain, & thus the cover seems to have hit the moving chain & broken in half.
As I mentioned previously on this thread, I have had crash guard coming off with both upper bolts gone, which I replaced.
Silencer plate screw gone which I have replaced temporarily.
Console screws loose which I tightended. I am checking screws myself nowadays.
Point is ... can I get new chain cover under warranty, bike still under warranty + service was done last month where they supposed to check tightness. It's not about how hard you get hit... It's about how hard you get hit and just keep moving forward.

Hello gyan_recl350, I bought another rubber pad for the center stand and stuck it with FeviBond. It works like a charm... the stand has moved down just a couple of millimeters, and is no longer hitting the silencer. Thanks for your inputs

I have a small query... Can I change the seat of my Thunderbird to the old Thunderbird one? The current one is fine for the driver, but very painful for the pillion, a.k.a. my wife
Will I need to do some modifications to the seat frame? Has anyone gone for such modifications?

Yes why not? Off-course you can change the seat, there are many options available in market. BTW since you are in Bangalore do give a try at Rao seats, they can even customize the stock pillion seat

Hello!!!
You can try out Rao's seat covers shop which is located in Shivaji nagar for fixing your seat. You can add couple of layers of foam to the back seat which helps. I have got it done for my bike. Please try going there on weekday's when the shop is not crowded and he can get the stuff done in a better way. Let me know if need help with the directions.
Cheers!

Re: Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Owners Experiences
Hello friends,
Have decided to take the plunge and book a TB350 this weekend. Just curious, i went through all the posts in this thread is the oil leak and tappet noise still going on with the latest batches? Anyone got a delivery this year and faced it too? Not that its gonna change my decision but just asking so that i know what issues to expect and be prepared.
Should get the delivery in around May i guess, the wait period for it here is 2-3 months.
Any help would be 'preciated:thumbup:
Cheers,

Re: Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Owners Experiences
If ur looking for a single sidebox, studds is a good option.. But for both side boxes, I didn't find a feasible option yet except for the leather bags..Originally posted by nachiket.sarode View PostFinally .....got delivery of new bird on 6th feb.....
