Unfortunately it had to happen in front of my uncle who is already not too happy about me buying an expensive and fast motorcycle.Originally posted by Yasser View PostAlso noticed that you have a hugger on your rear tyre. Where did you get that? FZ? Any trouble with our HYD cops because of the front number plate? Did you get your gear already? Pl suggest a good place to get the jacket and other gear in HYD.
Thanks to Bluevolt for FZ Rear Hugger DIY Stuff.
Got the FZ hugger for Rs 110 at yamaha service centre
for Front Number Plate didn't found that much trouble with cops. even after heavy frisking going on in the city
i am still in search getting good gear just thinkin about alpinestars SP-X Gloves from planet dsg and for jacket and helmet my uncle is going to frankfurt next month, thinking of getting them through him.

Juxtaposing this on the biking scenario, if you own a green ninja its a give away that you are a NINJA.
So the only Ninja that lives up to its name is the BLACK NINJA bcos its covert, blends in and smokes others!!"It's impossible." said pride. "It's risky." said experience. "It's
pointless." said reason. "Give it a try." whispered the heart ....

Finally took delivery of my bike today!!Can't believe how thrilled I was!
Rode my black babe home in the afternoon amidst a host of admiring glances - and felt like a million bucks!!
The ONLY bummer is that I have to run her in now - and quite frankly I find it a royal pain.Sitting astride a bike that so effortlessly pulls away from the rest of the pack and yet clamping down on that almost uncontrollable urge to open her up ....arrghh!
I caught myself "cheating" a couple of times - when I saw the tach touch around 6K rpm momentarily and immediately cut back - but I'm certain that the people in the vehicles around me saw my big fat grin through my full-face lid!
So my friends - spill the beans - am I the only one here who "sampled" his new bike's potential ?
On a more serious note though - I hope I didn't do any damage to her .
BTW, Manoj, the Chennai PBK sales head told me to expect the ZX6 in a few months!!?? Anybody else hear this?

Its not the zx6 but the ninja 650r which is going to be launched. ZX-6R is a track oriented inline-4 cylinder bike and the 650r is a touring oriented parallel twin.Last edited by JAKRAP; 05-08-2010, 02:20 AM.http://www.californiasuperbikeschoolindia.blogspot.com

The only two "PURE" experiences in life are"SINGLE MALT" and "BIKING".

Took delivery of my Green Ninja yesterday.
Man i was so nervous and shaky for something like this. My first sportsbike. I was feeling like i was meetin some girl over a date.
clocked a lil over 130 kms on day1. I must say this is the best I have ridden so far. Superrrrrrrrrrb refinement and smooth is an understatement. WORTH every ruppee. Those who are sitting on the fence and flipping coins, just go and get one. You wont regret it.
Regarding the 4k limit i got the hang of the engine sound so i know when to shift. but sometimes i shifted a lil over 4k while overtaking... like 4.5k or close to 5k.
Lovin every min with her. BIG thanks to Rahul (Bluevolt), Asim (Killer Instinct), JD666, Invincible, and especially Manson who helped me decide to go for the Ninja.ATGATT - Because hospital ceilings are boring !!!

Congratulations to all the Ninja owners. Its great to see that this bike is finding homes with so many people.
One question - The ninja is extremely popular with female riders abroad due to its low seat height. Any female ninja riders here??? or anyone seen one??
My offerings to the gods of speed -
- KTM Duke 200
- Yamaha RXZ 5 speed

Yes Kawasaki corporate colour is Green but it does not mean that each bike in a corporate colour looks great. Imagine a bajaj bike in orange and blue.GuRpReEt SiNgH
