Adding a slip-on pipe and a free flow air filter will lean out the AFR (air fuel ratio). The ECU on the ninja is a closed loop one so it will sense the change in the AFR and make necessary adjustments to the fuel being pumped in to compensate for more air and less fuel.Originally posted by psych0hans View PostYeah... But there is a limit to how much the stock ECU can compensate for this change. It would be better to plonk in the PC-5 since you can get the tuning spot on and tweak the power/torque curve as required by downloading/feeding in appropriate maps.ATGATT - Because hospital ceilings are boring !!!

Bulp Replacement
Another Low Cost Replacement,
Used the Pulsar 220 Headlamps bulb on the Ninja which is also 55w powered.
It looks a tad bit brighter but that could be coz of the slight white tint that the 220's headlamp bulb has.
Costed me 247 bucks. Overall pretty good.

I think now your profile picture can have some light ,instead of this darkness..
Drop in, to my house so that we can compare the bulb brightness with the Wurth bulb installed in my bike..RIP Marco

Is it me or, its kinda hard to reach 150 right after break in? Currently it 1880kms in the odo.
Reaching 120-130 is pretty easy, after that the going gets tough

I dont know much but still i can share my experience. When the odo on my bike was around 1100 odd kms, and I was driving on greater NOIDA expressway alongwith 2 friends (who were on their respective Bulls). I was cruising in 6th gear at 100 Km/Hr and simply twisted the throttle and voila i could easily reach 150 odd Km/ hr on the speedometer. So according to me its not required to hit the rev limiter to reach such speeds, obviously the distance required to hit high speeds will be less if you hit the limiter. In my case the expressway was almost empty and the idea was to have a little fun on the run. So i hit 150- 155 and let go off the throttle and easily reached my cruising speeds of 100 Km/hr.
I though I will share my experience.

Brother, I know about this but you know better.Originally posted by n_aditya View PostAdding a slip-on pipe and a free flow air filter will lean out the AFR (air fuel ratio). I do plan to get such changes done to my ride. The plan is to get some stuff from abroad (whenever I next go abroad that is & preferably Thialand/ Dubai). Can I simply get in touch with you before my trip for a detailed talk about such things?
Cheers!GuRpReEt SiNgH

Guys, I didn't try hard but still I tried to search for a 4 wheeler thread on this forum.
I have recently acquired Mahindra's "Cheetah" (read XUV 5OO) and wanted to get in touch with fellow members who own the same so that we can share our experiences, blah , blah, blah...
I am sorry this is off topic, but if there's no such thread, can I start the same. Please help (Mods, please)
Thanks,GuRpReEt SiNgH

I think xbhp is strictly for two wheelers... The mods will be able to clarify that though... Why don't you try teambhp? Cheers!!!Originally posted by GuRpReEt SiNgH View PostGuys, I didn't try hard but still I tried to search for a 4 wheeler thread on this forum.
