Hmmm.. I've used only cheap 120 grade oil on the ZMA, I've tried all other means including bearing grease but all in vain. I guess the only difference is that I never bothered to clean the chain. Just lubing whenever the chain started making noise.

Well, I learnt from a friend's experience. He bought a used ZMA for 40k, spent 20k to repair the bike to top notch condition. In couple of days after repair, sold for same 40k. (Sold due to personal reasons.)

All in all, it looked like he bought the bike to incur a loss of 20k within 2 months.

I'm planning to remove and refit my front fairing tomorrow, and use rubber washers (as suggested by shoeb2015) with the bolts and double tape to reduce vibrations.

Has anyone done this before? If so, what do I need to keep in mind? Any step-by-step guide is also highly appreciated.

          Thanks.

                  Good morning all
                  Hope all are doing well.

Lately my Zee's throttle response has become snatchy below 2500rpm mark.
Have replaced air filter and sparkplug recently.

Guys could I get some pointers as what may be wrong.??

Also does tappet/valve adjustment has to do something with this problem.??

Muck in throttle cable/bar end too tight. Open right side fairing and pour WD40 through the cables A and B. With the ignition OFF, twist the throttle few times. Also, open and re fit the bar end weight on the right side.

This is the preliminary check. BTW, have you filled from a new petrol station recently? Injectors could be clogged too, but we'll see that later.

No Divya Bhai haven't changed my petrol pump.
Will cover the points first as you guided.

Just curious - does tappet/valve adjustments have to do something here.?

Well, on the fueling aspect I can't say much. Maybe other members can comment. Valves would make themselves audible in case of a discrepancy.

Have you ever replaced those throttle cable of your bike?
possible rusts formed in the throttle body.
check the end weight.. pull it out a little with bare hands if it seems to be holding the throttle..

Reneav Bro by snatchy I ment the throttle response is not even sometimes when I am below 2000-2500 rpm.

No Bro I haven't replaced the throttle cable yet.
