90 is the percentage of height of the sidewall. So, 100/90 means that the tire is 100 section and sidewall is 90% of 100, i.e, 90 section. Similarly, 110/90 has a 110 section tire with 99 section sidewall height. This would increase the seat height a bit. 120/80 means 96 section sidewall and height increment would be lesser than 110/90.
Lastly, 18 is the rim size. Hope this helps.
That was very helpful, now I got to know that profile doesn't matter the tyre width remains the same
So I can go for 110 sized zapper Q IN FUTURE ? I.e 110/80/18(dealer have this ) or 110/90/18 without mods
Downgrading side wall height doesn't effect ? Only height gets reduced right

Sidewall plays an important role in cushioning road shocks. Too low sidewall can damage alloy and reduce ride quality since the sidewall cushioning effect is reduced. Just make sure overall tyre height doesn't go too low with new tyres.

Just don't go (a lot) lower than stock, else you will always be in danger of damaging rims and suspension components.
In fact 110/80 can be used since it's almost the same as stock (88 mm vs 90 mm) instead of 110/90.

Thanks for the reply and suggestion
So reducing from 90(stock) to 80 isn't preferable In 110 width tyres ? It's not too low but one size down and this dealer don't have 110/90/18 size and others don't even have clue about 110 TL tyres in zapper

Sure won't go less than 80 wall but why should I not go with 110/90 (if availability is there ) ? Will it be more coz 90% of 110 will give more height than 100/90 and if so is it recommended?

How to check 110/80/18 is a direct fit w/o purchasing the tyre ? Coz the dealer ,mechanic confidently said chain guard touches the sidewall . Any testing tyres available or something of that sort
Lastly and suggestions for 110 TL tyres in this current market ? Either people have 100 or 120 size ,110 is like 1000 Rs note hard to find b/w 500 and 2000

110/80 is almost the same in sidewall height as stock 100/90, so that can be done without any harm.
abhi7013 had a 110/80-18 rear tire. He can attest to it not causing any trouble. AFAIK, he didn't have to cut or remove the chain cover either.

Had to go back to my bike and look at the figures on the tyre as i have forgotten which one it is. Lol!
As u said, its 110/80-18 and it sits comfortably!

Ps: Tyre is the best i have used till now and VFM compared to Pirelli. The lower width makes it look pretty good too! Completed 20k kms on it and i can easily do a lot more... Disadvantage is that its not TL.

That was a helpful review , u dint mentioned the model is it zapper Q one or any other ?
If it is zapper Q then now TL is available in market (only good dealers, and this is stock tyre for RE Bullet so scarcity ) and u can refer to my pics posted , but that guy just inspected and said a there's a 50-50 chance of chain guard rubbing side wall so I dint go for it (I should have)

The website and real market had so much contrast , my exp was there's no zapper y in market only zapper Q and meteor in 100/90/18
Zapper Q 110 TL need to search hard , this is the situation in my area u can find ur luck in your area

Currently running on Meteor mogrip 300kms on it , u can find my review in last pages
It has great grip than stock by huge margin and looks wide
Normal Cornering gives u confidence than stock coz of side buttons
Need to see the wet grip
In sand gravel also it's good but only downside is bike wobbles shakes a lil bit when going slow or in poth holes coz of Buttons
The thread pattern smoothnes is lost
Overall a good tyre for city use and bad roads

Zapper Q >> Zapper Y (by a huge margin).
Zapper Y doesn't have grooves where it matters most. At the center!
So, grip in rain is scary. 100/90-18 Zapper Y was the stock tire Karizma always came with and people rightly swapped it as soon as they could.

Zapper Q provides good grip and feedback in all conditions, except on gravel. Only button tires can perform well here anyways.

Now Meteor vs Vyde is like talking two different segments. Vyde is ultra soft and hence has awesome grip levels. But due to the same reasons, it lasts less and is puncture prone. Meteor lasts longer, is less puncture prone and provides good grip in gravel, but on normal roads and during rains, Vyde is better.

If you do not want to up size

Meteor- For Bad roads, dry roads or slush and gravel
Zapper Vyde - Good grip on wet roads but lesser life. Be prepared for Nails on roads.

If you want to Up Size

Zapper Q - 110/90-18 - Overall good but wet grip is Okayish compared to Vyde....TT also can be made as TL depending on the beeding pattern and very good life.
Zapper Y - Same as about but gives up on wet roads

I had no modifications to fit in a 120/80-18 Ceat Vertigo or 110/90-18 Zapper Q. You just need the right mechanic.

vickyraj82 says it's available in TL form, though I'm not sure.

Reasons?
1. It's not mentioned on the website.
2. Many sellers sell that TT tire as TL (Zapper Q 110/90-18).

P.S - A tire is NOT tubeless unless it has TUBELESS written/embedded/embossed on it.

I'm using zapper vyde n very much happy with it. Not sure how long it will last , so far competed around 6000+ kms with this tyre.
