That seems expensive. Can anyone tell me if insurance can be availed in such a situation?

Haha. Dats the prob. U solve one thing then the other part remains unsolved.Originally posted by kmk0311 View PostNope, I have a fake LS2 helmet
Riding in the night with the stock mercury visor is a pain, so thinking of getting a clear visor.
Btw, did u know while buying dat ur helmet is a fake? Btw, how diff is the product? How noticeable?
Hows the quality? Is it vry bad?

Alternatively, CBZ Xtreme has the same alloys, but priced way cheaper.

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
But that's not possible, right? If CBZ, Hunk, Karizma etc share the same alloy wheel they should cost the same.Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostAlternatively, CBZ Xtreme has the same alloys, but priced way cheaper

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
It's not that straight forward. Part numbers are priced based on the model/market perception of the bike. CBZ Xtreme 2011 model has its alloys shared with Hunk, ZMA. Since Karizma was positioned as a flagship product, it's spares were costlier. Members in BLR extensively checked the make, design etc and both alloys are 100% same.Originally posted by sarkartheruler View PostBut that's not possible, right? P.P.S - IIRC, the front alloys won't fit a Karizma since Xtreme has smaller disc rotors (mounting radius).Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Thank you Divya Sharan. I think only the rear alloy is same as cbz xtreme. Will definitely go with insurance.Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostYes it is expensive. You should avail insurance benefits here.

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
This reminds me of one problem I had with my hunk. The paint on the wheels used to come off too easy. Once it started peeling there was no stopping. They started looking ugly. Hope that is not the case with ZMR. Its been 1.5 years and so far the paint is fine.

How much do they cost? CBZ's I mean.
Yes, I knew that it was a fake one while buying. Original ls2 helmets are priced 6k and above (AFAIK), and they are DoT certified.. The fake ones come with a ECER 22 certified sticker..Originally posted by jack_daniels View PostHaha. Dats the prob. U solve one thing then the other part remains unsolved.
