          I shift at 6k rpm usually so that's ripping according to me. 😒

            Hahaha. Don't tell me you dont knoe what ripping is. Red line the bike. Shift gears at red line in every gear. Then see how much mileage your bike can give you..

            I used to red line my bike a lot initially.. but stopped after i decided to keep my Black Pearl forever

                            Regarding spongy feedback;

                            1. Inspect brake cable.
                            2. Inspect break pad wear(Change if necessary).
                            3. Change brake fluid.

                            *Brake fluid looses its integrity when exposed.

                            *The best way to get air out;
                            Press the lever a couple of times and release, loosen the bleed nut and gently press the lever and when you're at the end close the bleed nut, repeat till the air is out and brake fluid starts to come out. Say I'm half way through the lever and the fluid starts flowing, I immediately close the bleed nut without releasing the lever.

                            *If you release the lever with the bleed nut open, air will enter the system.

                            *Dont wait till shit breaks loose, keep a predetermined service interval based on your usage and overhaul the system (Mine was, replace pads and fluid every 10k kms).

                            Too sleepy to type in proper sentences, but I've tried to note down all the key points, hope its enough.

                              Valid points. But didn't you inspect the pads before replacing? I know there are a lot of factors involved in determining the life of them pads, but still???
