            Like in a 360 degree rotation the wheel slowed down in around 15 degrees of travel at some point.
            Went to PBK and the fault was analyzed as a mis-aligned wheel. While adjusting the chain tension, the rear wheel was adjusted tilted towards the right side since the alignment nuts were only tightened on the left side. When set free, there was immediate difference.

            I feel that most of the 220s might be having this problem and hence the brake pads wear out faster and there is a squeaking noise. Ideally brake pads make a sound when they have glaze on them and continuous brushing against a part of the disc is the perfect recipie to put on glaze.

            Check if your wheel rotates freely.
            Hey NV ! as per my knowledge the rear wheel of 220 doesnot rotate freely seems slightly jammed. Infact after puttin in the Siracs its become more jammed. but no difference in riding, and my bike now does 86 at 6K RPM, just the other day when i was cleaning the chain i saw tat the rear disc pads almost were touching the discs.Not sure whether it shld b tat way ...

            @Pushkar : did u get the wheel checked ?

            • Alloy problem

              my bike hit a pothole at high speed and now there is a slight bend on the wheel. the problem is that the tire gets deflated in about 3-4 days
              (i guess its because of the bend).

              So, do i have to replace the wheel or is it possible to get it repaired? what's the cost of replacement/repair?

              • @flyingabhi: Is the bend in the wheel visible to the naked eye? Is there any adverse effect on handling?

                I ask because last evening my P-200 went through a pretty deep pothole at city speeds (about 60km/hr.) or so, but thankfully I don't find the handling, wheel, etc. affected, although I am a little concerned nonetheless.

                        I had the exact same case, just that the impact was much greater and my tire deflated immediately and the rim was cracked. I suggest you change the rim.
                        If you apply for accident insurance, you are pretty much covered. Rims come under %100 since they are alloys. You will have to pay for labor charges only.

                          Alloys cannot be repaired I guess once bent. You might have to replace it overall

                              Minor bends can be set right. big bends or when the alloy has a crack - u need to replace it. Check with people who work on Car Rims and bike forks... you'll be lead to people who work on alloy bends.

                                It doesn't belong to the track. While it wasn't exactly a nightmare to ride on the track but when you compare it to how the RTRs and R15s were going around you will be disappointed. Bloody skittish on curves.
