Help please
Hi Guys! I got my 220 serviced recently. It was my 1st paid service. All was well. I had issues with rear brake noise which was sorted out. Posted it in this thread only. Today while coming to office I just checked the Engine oil level. It was showing weel below the recomended mark. I thought probably as the bike wasn't cranked up it is showing like that. I rode for a km & then again checked. Still it showed the same level! Now, there is no indicator appearing in the console. Also, I remeber the service station guy putting in Engine Oil! Bike is running ok. I am really freaked out!! Any suggestion guys???"HASTA LA VICTORIA, SIEMPRE !" - Chesigpic

My battery is drained out , seems to be some loose connection.Yesterday morning I had to do a push start, but in the evening that didn't work so left my bike at office.Does 220 work on a push start if there is zero battery left ?guys let me know soon else will call for breakdown vehicle from service center.
My rear left indicator went kaput in the bangalore ride , could that be the reason of a short circuit which is causing the battery to drain out.No fuse has blown since when you turn the ignition key the self check happens and it starts the fuel pump once in a while.sigpicThe Moto Cafe - India's first bike theme cafe @ Chandni Chowk

Either there is little or no juice left in the battery. If the self test+fuel pump priming is happening then you can push start it.
If thats not happening, then god help you...
A fused indicator does not cause a short circuit to drain the battery, the reason would be elsewhere. Check the grounding for rusting/etc._________________________

I checked all the wires , there seems to be no such grounding , I thought the fused bulb somehow (which i cant believe can happen) caused a short to drain the battery. Will try to remove the bulb to check if it can be fixed. The fuel pump priming happens only the first time i start it .... not every time. Will give it a shot when I reach office.Originally posted by prafultripathy View PostEither there is little or no juice left in the battery. @ Niks
If the fuel pump priming is happening then a push start will work. There needs to be sufficient juice in the Battery to pump the fuel to the injector else the bike cannot start.Kaushik Ramadas

@RX: You are supposed to check engine oil after letting your bike settle for 5-10 mins. I mean the engine shouldn't be on. Try to check after resting it for 5-10 mins.Originally posted by rx100.7050 View PostHi Guys! I got my 220 serviced recently. It was my 1st paid service. All was well. No No... I checked the oil level in the morning before cranking it up. Engine wasn't on. It was on main stand tooOriginally posted by pranay View Post@RX: You are supposed to check engine oil after letting your bike settle for 5-10 mins. I mean the engine shouldn't be on. If that is the case, and you were on level ground, then it is a problem. Oil Level might be low. Funny the sensor didn't work, but I would rather check it myself.Originally posted by rx100.7050 View PostNo No... I checked the oil level in the morning before cranking it up. Engine wasn't on.
