      ROFL !!!

Once this happened that me and a frnd (VJ_rulz , one of the first owners of 200) were near lonavla , and since all the stickers from his bike were already stolen , the fuel pump owner asked me which bike is that one(pointing over to the blue 200) is it some foreign bike or a new bike.I said both are new so that he could pay attention to my bike too and the guy said but you have a pulsar , thats (200) something new.

I stopped caring about others comments actually. The most common comment an R15 owner hears is "Sab kuch accha hai, par peecche ka tyre bahut cchota diya"!

              • Faced a strange issue today guys.....While braking the front disc tends to lock up.....Happened to me twice.....it seems the disc got stuck right there in its track.....almost fell down twice....I cleaned the disc....the bike seems better now bu still I wonder if there's some other problem....

One more thing....The bike's rpm needle has stopped working.....everything else works fine.....The bike does a self-check as well but no rpm response.....

                      • @Prongs: Never seen this. When was the last time you changed your disc pads.

And the rpm needle thing, very common issue. lot of my friends faced it. SC says there is some wiring problem.
May be you should viist PBK once.....

not much of a help i know

                        • Prongs: I think some issue with the cables or disc pad has completely worn out. You gotta give immediate attention to this dude. No let up in that. Noise comes due to worn out disc pads, primarily. But disc getting locked is really scary man

                          • If the disc pads are worn out then they wouldn't lock up isn't it? Could it be because of air bubbles in the brake fluid lines?

Well guys....No disc pads have been changed as yet...bike has done just 1300kms till date exact odo reading is 1304....I am kind of scared after what happened yesterday and hence driving quite slow....Using the rear breaks since then.....but the front brake still seems to get locked up.....

After how many kms do these pads normally get changed???

Disc Pads really lasts long. I got it changed after 5th or around 5th service that's 10,000 kms. Whatever, get it checked ASAP. As suggested by someone, may be some air bubbles have appeared.
