here is what I have planned.

1. Engine Black
2. Both Alloys Black
3. Rear Shocks black
4. Front fork black ( only the silver powder coated part)
5. Swingarms ( golden ) or maybe not get them painted.
6. Front and rear calipers golden same color as swingarms.

Some things i'll say in regards to some issues quoted in the last 2-3 pages... dont know how it'll be helpful, but just my experience!

rpm tacho needle: happened to me just once only... wen i started the bike.. self test ok.. bike started, but showing 0rpm... restarted all electricals, problem solved! happened about 3-4 months back...

rear disk noise: Was present during the initial months when i had bought the bike.. till 2nd service... hasnt been there since past 8 months or so... not a single sound.. still original pads... havent been changed & just spray water into it wen i wash the bike. Thats it! Wonder whats the mystery here?

Issues with my bike:

Fairing vibration.... very very very loud in excess of 6k rpm... frightening.. gimme some solution guys!! also same sound at 3k rpm too.

Fuel meter: Was okayish until last 3-4 months... wierd readings! Guess i have to change something.

Engine smoothness: Very smooth after i started getting it serviced at Shreeram bajaj, Thane... CO issue maybe.. and almost absent after putting in motul 300v... stil it does come around sometimes... usually for 1-2 days max and goes away on its own too... funny thing... causes and remedies welcome!

Ohh.. and btw... today is my bikes Happy Birthday.. bought it on the same day last year

reddy's at Goregaon will visit him day after to get the quote... but he said he would like to take the engine off the chasis to do the job for better effect dont know if im ready for that

Thank you, bro. I don't know the exact address of the garage. I know where it is though by road. Somewhere in Jayanagar ( I know thats a BIG block but I don't live there...) Hemant from Khivraj PBK helped me out with this. I suggest you go through him rather than going to the garage. And the cost it took me was Rs 2600.

Plz don't do that. It will VOID your warranty. It is definitely possible to do it without taking the chassis off. Many people have done that here.

Strip out everything and just leave the engine and the chassis. Then paint it. The chassis is black anyways so no issues if some paint touches there.

Quality issues!!

My bike is arnd 10 months old.. recently i saw some kind of layer shedding frm the rear alloy... is that normal!!?? also the area arnd the tail light is loosing its color!! I feel its a serious quality issue..

ps- allready changed fork oils and air filterat 9000km,and iridium spark at 5000km.
these days my 220 is also liking from the head(very little) shall i ask them to chng the engine caseing?

i have the same problem with the real alloys and still do they have painted it twice but the paint keeps peeling off dont know what to do now.

plsz tell me abut the which oil use....currently i use bajaj pbk castrol oil whatever they put active 4t 20w50. i changed ma bike oil in per 1250 km.
i ask in pbk they told me motul is not approved oil by bajaj pbk in s.k.auto & sai service so plsz suggest which oil i use.....??????

veedol 20w50 is what they have stock in many bajaj ASC.

CO level 2.5 to 3.
for leaking head - r u using motul oil ? if yeah then some ppl here hav already faced this issue they might help.

it looks like its almost 2-3 yrs old.
when asked to the PB guys they say "its quiet common" (the most common solution they have for almost all issues).
