my 2014 zma has some weird noise coming from the disc break area while the wheel is in motion, like something is scrapping or stuck

Rear suspension is making a squeaking sound, like whenever it compress and decompresses it has the ki ki ki ki ki air sound coming

any pointers to it folks ?

Pressure wash, will go away. It happens when dirt gets in there.

A good pressure wash would get rid of that, but in my case, I never bothered and it went away on its own. But if the bike is under warranty then get them replaced

To the benefit of all those who are changing the lock set of the pre 2007 Zma. Most service stations/Shops sell ZMR locks as Zma's . Make sure you get the lock set with a flat base and not the curved one in case of latter ones. We realized this when were partially restoring @SriramEfunds red Zma.

The post 2007 Zma and ZMR lock set is compatible with each other but not the pre 2007 model.

Here is a Pic for your reference

The actual Part number for the old model is 35010-KRY-900

the other part numbers for the Same lock set is
        35010-KRY-930
        35010-KRY-960

The difference being the Type of Key and color of the tank lock.

Finally, i got the person who designed the new Karizma 2014. They are not in-house hero designer. They are different company.

The design in draft looks better but, hero did their own cost cutting and made the product.

          Here it is :

Yes it is under warranty, I haven't completed a year yet.

The engine comes with 5year warrnty, right ??

any clue about the time period for other parts ?

and have never serviced my bike at a hero service centre, would that play spoilt sport in claiming warranty ?

The new ones come with 5 year warranty so that's covered.

I've never serviced my P220 at the SVC, the bike is over a month old, but is out of warranty cause its over 3k kms old, and they won't replace my faulty starter clutch because of it. So, yes! It would be a ***** to claim warranty now.

In my bike the squeaking went away after a while, but if it does bother you, then get them replaced.

There are things which make it useful and there are things which looks beautiful.
I find rear drum is more than enough for our ZMA. No need to go for disc unless you really want to have.
Some may argue quoting about other bike which has disc at the rear, but that is purely for argument sake.

I appreciate the efforts gone in making the rear to disc, if that had been for better power transmission worth trying it.

I purely find rear disc to be a cosmetic that our drum brakes can handle in our bike's capacity.

I don't want to argue. But as a tourer my need would all fall on the front brakes. I use the rear but rare during my run.
After some minor make over to my red ZMA, the rear brake found to be very sharp. I'm scared if that's going to land me in trouble.
