Sure you'll get help, however we are missing some crucial details such as bike age, odo done, known issues, bike condition, last serviced, oil used, etc.

Post the details so it helps to get an overview and try suggestions.
Thanks for the valuable response.

Bike's age is 7.5 yrs.

Odo is 58k+ kms.

Bike condition is 70%

Last service 2 weeks before.

Oil used is veedol 10w40 synthetic.

Thanks again.

Got the rotor replaced around a month back.

I suspect that this uneven wear on the rotor is due to the uneven brake pads.

The reason for uneven brake pads I assume might be due to the previous rotor (which was replaced because it had scorings in it).

P.S : Brake Pads changed around 3 months back.

Please help me sorting out.

Issues are as follows.

1. Bike not gaining 70+ speed easily.

2. In 3rd gear some kind of noise is coming from the engine.

3. Also there is a lot of vibration at 40+ speed.

Please help.
Any prediction for above issues?

does this happen all of a sudden or does it happen all the time? I faced similar issue once and psr sir explained the reason to me.. I am quoting the 3 year old post here for better understanding of what I faced.

But this is only if it happens some times.. Otherwise, what are the other things that your bike shows? Smoking? have you checked the oil level? how old is your bike?

I approched to a mechanic regarding this issue 3 weeks before he done the full service and suggested me following on my demand.

1. Air filter is in working condition.

2. Carb. Is tuned well. Idle rpm is 1100.

3. Chain set is in good condition and lubricated.

4. Engine oil refilled is veedol Synthetic 10w40.

Though the above service is done the bike is not going easily 60+kmph and when trying to accelerate more lot of heat is feeled on the legs.

May be it is a time for rebore as my bike has done 58k+ kms. And its age is 7.5 yrs with optimum condition.

But I would like to mention here that
1. Airfilter is good.
2. Carb. is serviced and cleaned by mechanic. Idle rpm is 1100.
3. Clutch plates are changed once till and in good working condition as there is no hard shifting of gears.
4. Chain set is also changed once till and in good working condition.
5. Engine oil refilled 3 weeks before at the time of servicing is Veedol synthetic 10w40.

Thank you

It happens all the time when i tracks on highway where i try to ride the bike above 100+ kmph.

Bike not smoking even at high rpms like 6k+ rpm.

Oil level is at max level.

Bike is 7.5 yrs old and have done 58k+ kms till now.

Just hard shifting doesn't mean that clutch plates are bad.
When your bike's speed doesn't increase relative to the RPM, it is time to look at clutch (and pressure) plates.

Just to be sure, do the following things:
In 4th gear, 3000 RPM should be 39 kmph, 4000 RPM should be 52 kmph, 5000 RPM should be 65 kmph (13 kmph per 1000 revs in the powerband).
In 5th gear, 3000 RPM should be 45-48 kmph, 4000 RPM should be 60-64 kmph, 5000 RPM should be 76-80 kmph (15-16 kmph per 1000 revs in the powerband).

If the figures on your bike are off by a noticeable margin, it is time to change clutch plates.

Are the tappets set correct?
Both inlet and exhaust clearances must be 0.1mm and they must be set with a feeler gauge and not by hand!

Sir.

3 days before i've checked the rpm on 5th gear, the rpm needle was between 5 and 5.25 at 80-85 kmph.

Though i will test the rpm according to margin reference provided by you and upload the details soon.

Tappets are adjusted by mecahnic 3 weeks before by hand. But sometime it makes noise in 2nd gear.

Thanks a lot.

If the engine heats up, then it should be the problem with clutch plates.. Like you suggested..
