I personally use most of CBZ parts on my Zma. Disc Pads, Master Cylinder Kits, u name it. All fit fine. They r the same and cost a fraction of the Zma parts. We get a local made MC Kit which is just 150 bucks here in Mumbai compared to the 1200 bucks Zma one. U just need to put the rubbers of this kit on the original kit and Voila! Used this for a year now and its too good. HH only takes us for a ride with the Karizma Sticker.

nothing much just change the oil and you should be good to go.have the bike serviced every 3k kms.

Is there a marked difference in how the bike lights up the road ahead now?

It is way better than the stock bulb much wider area covered also when used upper the light is as good as a cars light
yes light is yellow however brighter than the stock one

no modifications required its a direct fit

          • Check enigine oil level, and check if the engine oil is due for change. Because you are planning for a 1000-km ride, just check if the current engine oil is good for 1000 km, if not change.

Check for freeness of clutch and throttle levers. Maintain proper air pressure in the tyres. Lube the chain if needed.

No wheel alighnment or balancing is required.

                • ^^I used HH-Idemitsu oil for the 100km change and the first service. Motul 30004T series is mineral-based man.
Im not gonna go for synth atleast until i breach 5k kms.
I wasn't happy with the HH oil as the bike continues to heat up considerably, hence the shift to Motul

cooool. cos even I had a pair of spare car headlamp bulbs - halonix 55/60W only.

                    I know they're a direct fit, they're H4 p43t type.
So despite being yellowish, u feel it's a marked upgrade from the stock. Then I'll go for it too this tomorrow - 2nd service is also due.

                      Maverick,

Can you share the address of Cherry agencies? I am changing the engine oil at every 750 kms since the engine gets harsh after that.

                      Cheers,

                            • @krishna: Go to the Minerva circle place.
Directions: Take the road leading to Chamrajpet. There's a Goodyear tyre showroom. Cherry Agencies is the shop upstairs.
He'll most probably ask you to go to his godown which is near Chamrajpet. The billing however will have to be done at the shop itself.

                              Cheers !

                              • guys iv done only 340km till now.. not changed the engine oil yet. i can feel a huge amount of friction from the engine esp at higher rpm.. i can hear screeching when i release the clutch in the 5th gear.. should i go in for the service(1st service is at 500 right..) or shld i just change the oil? i feel like crying when i hear the noise!!

and when i'm downshifting the gear the lower gears fall all too easily making a load thud noise.. happens once in a while! what's that caused by?

hope iv not screwed my zma!
