Yeah at the SC, try to use a HH oil by idemitsu (check manufacturer). I have heard that its better than the BP one. Both are sold as HH Engine oil though.Originally posted by Amogh Akshintala View Posterm where do i get HH mineral oil? the SC im guessing? and how much is it? and good to hear the gear and airlock issues go poof after servicing..

2nd service
My bike is due for 2nd service. It has done some 2800+ kms. I don't trust sai motors mechanics anymore since they are unable to fix my gear shift problems.
Bangalore guys, Please let me know which HH service center does a decent job ? Also, my bike has run 2800+ kms and i just came to know that the second service was due at 2800 kms. Does the 25+ kms that I have done over 2800 voids the warranty of the bike ?
Cheers,

I have got my 2 services done at Nikhi motors and was pertty happy with their service. A little + or + kms than the prescribed wont be any issue.Originally posted by krishnadevanur View PostMy bike is due for 2nd service. It has done some 2800+ kms. I know a trusted Mech in my area who used to service my Honda unicorn from 1st service and did a very good Job also he has done a good job in servicing my friends ZMA

I bought my bike from Prakash motors. First service was done at Nikhi motors near Mekhri circle.
Like vinfreak, i too vouch for a decent job done by them. Talk to Mr. Sudhakar and im sure he'll get your problems resolved in the servicing
@Dreamz: Where on earth did you manage to procure Motul 30004T in 10W30 spec man?
Me wants it too !
Was told that the 30004T is available only in 20W40 format...Last edited by MavericK46; 05-13-2009, 11:54 PM.I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman.

The Motul 3000 4T 10W30 900ml bottles were available earlier but have disappeared from the market since about an year I think. Someone confirmed from a Motul Distributor that it is available in 50 liter cans though...
Ravi pulled out a can from his Kitchen recently while cleaning the Kitchen after about an year! I guess he is raring to try it ASAP.

Do they really check the ODO reading? The guys at Sur just ask for the ODO reading. I dnt think they are that strict with these issues.Originally posted by krishnadevanur View PostDoes the 25+ kms that I have done over 2800 voids the warranty of the bike ?
