Its not required to start everyday and idle it for 20-30 mins...you can do the same once or twice a week..!!Originally posted by shaukshemi View Postthank for your reply..what i meant was...i will make someone start bike in neutral and keep that for 20,30 minutes..just make engine working and battery charging......
A new headlamp set up costs around 1400-1500 bucks..!Originally posted by shaukshemi View Postthanks.there comes matter of reflector..how long it last and how much does it cost to change it for karizma?

Hi guys,
Really sorry to barge in like this
I am planning to get myself a ZMA this Sunday..after selling off my 3 year old A-150..
Could you guys provide some pointers, on that all to check before taking delivery (other than scratches and engine oil) ?
I have observed that HH guys give test rides on the new bikes. So, if there any way to check that I am not being given a test bike?
I know these questions have been asked 1000 times, but i could find a satisfactory answer anywhere
Regards,

Need a clarification guys.
A buddy of mine dropped my Zma today morning and she's picked up scratches on the clutch lever end and also on the bar-end weight. Any idea how much the lever costs? And the weights?
Im thinking of getting em replaced so that my dad never gets wind of this incident !
I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman.

Hey guys!! Just completed a 1400 km ride in 4 days!! Rode Bangalore-Mysore-kodai kanal- Munnar-Bangalore. Extremely happy with the way my bike performed. Be it cold or heat, ghats or stretches, it always gave me everything i asked for.
The bike seems as smooth as it was before the ride. Just that I am getting a squeaking noise from the rear suspension constantly which goes like "kui kui" whenever the rear suspension is compressed. What could be the reason for this? It happened after my Ooty ride too and vanished after some time. Friend says it used to happen in both his CBZ classic and zma. He says it's only because of accumulation of dust. Is it so? Need some opinions!
PS: Ravi sir, I changed to idemitsu 10W30 and i could feel the bike running lighter than before! It's butter smooth now! Thank you

Congrats for your new Zma. Yeah! I understand your excitation, but be gentle on throttle for the first 1000 km.Originally posted by Amogh Akshintala View PostHey! My first post on xbhp talkies.. 1. Ride under 4k till initial 1000km; occasional bursts to 5k is okay.
2. Do not ride constantly at same RPM or speed. You have to vary speeds significantly.
3. Change the engine oil at 100km. Use only mineral oil (preferably HH engine oil). I know this is not mentioned in the service manual, but it is good to do so.
The above points are very important. Take good care of the bike. Happy riding.
