When you fill, because you are riding with a pillion, put 27 at front and 35 at rear.

Jitu, when did you change your air filter? Did you check if it is clean? If it is more than 15k, it is better to change the air filter. Also same case with spark plug. Also stick to HH 10w30 oil for good results (only from Idemitsu).
oh i forgot to mention i also chnaged the air filter too along with other parts .. About oil , when i changed the parts the mechanic filled Motul 30004T oil sayign its good but later when i gave the bike to HH service centre those guys changed it (so i suppose they change to the HH recommended oil) . Spark pulg the mechanic didnt changed i think
he said its good for now and we will see it later. i wil change it in future
NGK iriduim plugs are the best right? how much it will cost? is it worth buying (other than stock plug) ? will it make any notticale difference? (i dont made any other engine modification)

You do not get any noticeable performance with Iridium spark plug. Better stick to stock plug (this is also from NGK).

Generally, the mechanics will not clear the air filter properly. Read the manual once to know how to clean the filter thoroughly. You can do it on your own if you have a vacuum cleaner at home. Or, at any place where cars are being washed, you will get the high pressure air dispenser.

My bike never saw HH showroom in the last 10k kms. I will do things my self, chain cleaning, airfilter cleaning, spark plug; engine oil change at an outside mechanic. I know how to open the fairing, how to replace clutch cables, how to replace bulbs and fuses.

                  • The redline is at 9180 rpm to be exact for ZMA and 9650 for CBZ. The fast Honda engine being the original CBZ.

                    • ^ You are mistaken buddy...the red line for ZiMA starts at 8K and the RPM indicator ends at 10K...so how would the red line start at 9180 rpm..?????

Im guessing Mr. Technician actually means that the limiter kicks in at 9189 RPM. Makes sense too as the Zma makes peak power at 7500 revs which is a whole grand short of 8500 at which most motorbikes sold in India deliver their peak output. Hence, the limiter cutting in at around 9k revs is justifiable as the Zma's engine isn't designed to sustain high revolutions.

Unfortunately, the Zma Owner's Manual does Not have a wiring diagram. but as far as I can figure out, the zma does not have a Head light relay.

Ya, may be the case but i dont think so he meant that, he must have been talking abt the red-line only..

Limiter is the power cut-off point, when the engine does not produce more power...
