Sorry, this is not the answer to your question but I think the handle bar end weights help in reducing vibrations.
What about the nut on the handle? Does it do anything? Are you expecting any performance difference with them? I'm just curious, so asking.

Pratik, just check the image that i found in yamaha R15 apparels and accessories website. I do not know if you have already seen it but it has prices also.

Sorry for the poor quality i took a snapshot and saved it. Xbhp was limiting the file size for the pdf. The prices would make you go

Stick to run in rpm restrictions, but accelerate as hard as you can within them, also give the bike lots of engine braking for a good run in. Keep varying the throttle for run in. Fuel up on the same fuel, i reccomend shell. clean and Lube your chain every 800 km's minimum and whenever it rains or you wash the bike. After run-in, when you cold start your bike, leave the bike in idle for a minute or two to warm up before riding (less engine wear and tear). And ride below 5k rpm for the first 3-4 km. This will preserve your engine and give it a much better life.
This Orion motor @ bangalore sometimes irritate a lot. They don't have proper systems to generate bills.. I got the bill of the bike after few days. Also i got my first service done, done oil change and charged 850/- Rs but no bill for that as well. I need to collect it next day. My tool kit also missing, called them and they say to collect the next day.

So guys please check everything is fine...
A bike is only as bad as it's worst rider.

the bar ends are not worth it.

since they're blingy... wen you bump into stuff... there'll be dings on 'em.

and they end up looking ugly.

take off the stock one's n get them painted.

                      much more VFM.

and they look just as good.

If you are in bangalore and are frustrated with the pathetic service most SVC's offer, just go to perfect riders. They are the only people I know of who treat customers with basic human decency.
Thats good to know. really they only care about their sales, service be damned. its not only with Bikes but with everything else

I didn't have any issues with the stock grips either. Any suggestions?
were you hurt? any prob with your Bike like vibrations, etc?

It has reduced stress on the wrist to a large extent, I would say.
                        Go for it!
I am thinking of doing the same as you did as I still get slight pain on my palms after long rides especially with pillion and sometimes I feel my fingers getting numb. maybe my posture is not right(even after 1 whole year and 7800kms) as I keep sliding towards the tank(can't grip the tank for too long with my thighs) and my family jewels gets the beating

I went to PSN agencies, a Yamaha dealer and svc in Kochi and asked for a FS oil and they gave me a bottle of Mobil 1 oil 0W40 which I bought for Rs.1150/-.since I've changed the oil in my last(5th) service, I'll not change it in my next(6th) service, will change it only in my 7th service. Is it advisable to do so?(about 1000kms traveled since last oil change which was semi-synthetic)

Nope, they dont.. got the bar ends and centre cap on my bike for more than a year now. Bike fell once, nothing.. Though if they are not installed properly, they can slip out and get loose ( not fall off, but just stick out from the end ). And its anodized Aluminium or something.. gives a good finish.
