Are we arguing over the fact that a stock Yamaha R15 (149.8 CC - 1 cylinder) achieves 147 Kmph on the speedo?
Really funny.
People should ride other vehicles (ex. any 4 wheeler in the 1600 cc segment.Even Santros become breathless at 145 Kmph), or better bikes to know how that kinda speed feels atleast.Comment

I got my exhaust cover changed today. It was damaged two months
ago in a crash. I am still waiting for a Headlight Cowl and Side Fairing.
@Ketan The MOTUL Chain Lube and Chain Clean is available at DSG Pune.

I'm abt to touch 7K. Did a servicing at 6K, so oil loosing viscosity is out. I went for resetting the tappet dis week end, but dey said dey need 1 day for it, so tld to bring it later.. I'm jus wondering wat dey did for my 6K service!!!Originally posted by Aparajith View PostComment

Man, don't underestimate this machine. 130kmph isn't impossible..I touched 132kmph or so on this bike on the 5th gear(almost out completely) and was about to hit shift to 6th when I ran out of road. This happened when the bike was rather new..(after the first service ofcourse). But now, my bike's in a pathetic condition.. lots of vibrations and the engine is a screamer now.

My Opel Astra '98 1.6 GL goes 0 to 60 in 4 secs if started with a "bit" of revving and without fuming the rear wheels. My Shogun goes 0 to 60 in about 8 secs. And I can drive my Opel @ 145 constantly for Kms steadily (it has got a real overdrive anyways).
