    • ^^No idea man. Check shops in GP road or the index provided by darkknight.

          Damn U r Fast

800 per piece isnt it costly compared to Philips H4 crystal vision which is around 600 for a pair including pilot lamps.
But if price is justified than will surely buy thm

                • Hey guys.. my friend got his bulbs changed.
He switched to Halonix 12v 35/35W white light.

Out put is good. Slight increase in visibility + they look absolutely beautiful.
Also changed pilot lamps with local LEDs , 30 Rs for pair. They too look quite good and match with the main headlights.

I m changing mine tomorrow. Tomorrow will give it a full shot to find some better option, like Osram night breaker or philips crystal vision, if not able to find then will go for Halonix. But then too will try to see if i can get 55/60W in halonix.

                  Here r a few pics.

                  • @ Ketan : In my suggestion, dont go in for the normal 35W white bulbs.....coz they are not an upgrade but rather there are visiblity issues(coz i have seen a lot of bikes with white bulbs whose visibility/spread is not that effective as of the normal yellow light bulbs)...

For an increase in the visibility i would suggest the Osram night breaker(but we get these only in pairs...which can work for you coz R15 has 2 bulbs) and its 55/60W bulb.....which gives quite good visibility and spread....!!

Rest the decision is upto you...

If you happen to know a place called as FC road at pune....then there's shop named "Sunny car accessories" next to McDonalds.... he stocks the night breaker bulb..!! So, next time you visit pune that time you can give him a visit and enquire for the bulb.

you get single packs too man .. 800 bucks a piece .. just bought two silverstars @ 200 and after checking out the perf I'll buy a pair of nightbreakers or a single one as my bike's battery allows.

also I agree.. 35/35 white will give you lower visibility than the 35/35 OEM. yellow will give you a larger spread with better reflective power.

                              • @ shadowboy..

                                Hey yeah..now i remember u...
Well thanx for viewing my trip log..

Frankly speaking i had decided in the beginning itself that m not gonna go for HIDs for my R15... That's y neva did that much research on HIDs.. Because there's a risk of battery drainage due to HIDs(m not sure though) + my SS guy told me that installing HIDs is not as easy as installing just the bulbs, it may take some cutting of wires n all.. + HIDs cost too much. That's y didnt think of goin for it. But yeah, of course the out put is simply awesome as compared to white light bulbs. So if u can afford it then it's worth it.

Though i know that for R15, H4 works...

                                Thanx dude...
