The CenterStand used by the SS guys is a temporary one used during servicing. You can get a racing stand as accessory (Rs.1500) from your Yamaha dealer. However, the shape&fitting is not as secure as a conventional mainstand. My bike was pushed&fell off due to the same reason.

then what is the remedy here for the place conjust?. can we make a main stand from local welder shop?

finally today i got the spark plug for my R15 it NGK Iridium plug cost me Rs 600/- due to demand actual cost is Rs 550/-.

Even if you get a main stand made from a local welder's shop, it will keep hitting the speedbreakers.

Yesterday
8500kms done
Fuel injectors cleaned.
Tappets adjusted.
Fork adjusted.
Pads in lovely condition.
New Accelerator cable fixed(cos i wanted 1 spare).
Platinum plug installed ( cos i wanted to change it :-P JLT).

Ready to head to wayanad tomorrow.

The normal iron mainstand that the svc uses (with the bolt thing) is available, only thing is you have to tell the svc guys to get one. Its not sold officially I guess.

And it costs some 250 bucks.
