      why was the coil opened ?
      I have the itch to see whats the coil config. Im an elec engg.
      Opened it myself to see . Thats all.

      The coil is awesome , thats y 3.5 amp supports every damn thing.

      No diff with FI being cleand.. Just the itch again...
      No dirt , nothing accumulated at all.

      I always keep fillin in some villages n stuff.so expected it to be clogged. But nothin at all.

              nija no , the hid is not bad , its the small baby size reflectors in the bike that i dont like.
              But i take a bow to the electricals of the bike.

              Japan ke engineer --- where's ur feet.:-D

                Even after fitting center stand it will only help in cleaning, because it will not be as firm and stable as in other bikes. there would be danger of falling even with light touch.

                  @ sk8er joe - i bought it from my friend shop near peter road roypettah, on it cost rs 550 + 150 for courier service. after installing the new spark my bike is more responsive and no jurk what so ever. even small touch to the throttal the bike response is much quicker.

                        Most of the parts prices are going up. If someoen has scrtches or so on their body panels (like I have) and are thinking of a replacement later (like I am waiting), may be you should rush in and buy at old prices!

                        A very different coil. Damn, most things about thsi bike are so different from others!!!

                        No diff with FI being cleand.. Just the itch again...
                        No dirt , nothing accumulated at all.

                        Dirt doesn't accumulate so fast in the injectors... Also, if you use any of the premium fuels, they do have cleaning agents added to them.

                        BTW, pls report on the Platinum Spark Plug performance. I am going for it at next service (12K) unless you give a negative report.

                          iv used platinum as well as iridium . No gain in performance or throttle response . All in the mind . No gain without using iridium cable

                            There's one thing I noticed during the change of my Spark plug+Adapter. The bike's performance, throttle response increased noticeably after the replacement. But it didn't stay for long, just a day or two (I do like 50kms every day).

                            Don't know if it's because mine is running on a Denso plug..cos i'm not sure about Denso's reliability, life and quality.
