Just back from Pearl Yamaha. Chain is silent now after greasing sprocket.
There was one center stand in display, which they gave me
due to my being a 'premium' customer (read shelled out a lot, first in line for accessories, oil etc.
)
Cost of stand: Rs. 577.
Spring Tensioner: Rs.114.
Mainstand shaft: Rs. 56.
Total cost Rs.747.
I will post pics by tonight, as I am at office now. Overall it is just like any other bike's mainstand. I am happy, it helps in parallel parking&I won't be afraid of it falling off/getting bent, coz my earlier bikes' sidestands had got bent due to people sitting on them.
I feel Yamaha had intended to launch this product earlier itself, coz if you observe, there is a small projection (guard) where the mainstand touches the silencer. He fitted a Gladiator rubber into the hole. Working fine.
P.S. What will I do with the paddock stand now?
