Well, motul chain degreaser and lube are available with the SS. Edit: After placing the bike on the paddock stand, I have confirmed that it is the chain noise itself, which has increased, probably after my 363 km.ride yesterday!
Guess its time to go to the SS to get the chain loosened&lubed again!
I bought OKS lube and degreser. They are available at Ranigunj. HydBiker uses the same. He said, they are pretty good and the lube, comparitively, lasts longer.Comment

In this case even the colors are miss matched.. The front fairing is of different color and the tank is something else.. I wonder how on earth he rides such a bike...lol...

i am experiencing something similar. but since the 1st service. a continuous whistling sound from front (like that of a pressure cooker, but not too loud), even when not moving.Originally posted by R15Rocks View Post

That's the fuel pump. If the sound is continuous it irritates. Open the fuel cap once and it shuts off. Damn is it just me or what, I found the TVSR15 much hotter
Wonder what kind of rattle it makes with that fairing mounted!
BTW When a Pulsar gets a R15 head job, then its a brilliant mod, but when a RTR gets the head job, it becomes an act of desperation... Phew!
So thats how R15 can look with a better tail lamp assembly and better sculpted tank

@HydBiker: Initially I felt it was coming from the front part, but then after putting it on the paddock stand at home, I understood that last week the chain was too tight, now not just the chain, but also the front sprocket has started making noise. It has become very noisy-after Saturday's ripping I guess. Will take her today&get the chain slightly loosened&both chain&sprocket lubed-it is 500kms. since the last lubing 9 days back.
No vibrations yet from screen/fairing though I removed the front no.plate long back!
@Riaz: Thanks, I'll check with them. I agree-I only got my 1st service done there, after that went only for buying spares!
@bak5062: That is the fuel pump sound. Nothing related to mine. Try shaking the bike when it is on standstill. It will make the same sound! Nothing to worry about, it is pretty healthy!

. I never filled petrol twice in the same day-that too full tanks! Even in the city I get 43

Anyways, the ride was great. No regret about mileage. I have seen my bike giving 48 under sedate cruising at 80-100.

Sound from Fork
@All,
I get a scrathy sound from the fork when I jerk the bike with the Front brake fully depressed( to check the play of Front fork). Sounds similar tosome springs rubing against the walls of the fork. Any idea what dis's??
I hav done over 10K, is it time to change the fork oil????Comment
