A sane mind wouldn't even pay 60-75% of the showroom price for this bike..

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

    • Yamalube chain spray review

Ok guys, here is my experience of the Yamalube chain spray. After 1300kms.&3 heavy rains/water washes, the first hint of squeaking has started.
I would have had to use Motul thrice by now.
Another very good thing is now my rear alloy&number plate are not coated with black grime, like it used to when I was on Motul. This is a powdery white dry type spray
Initially I was also apprehensive thinking of the cost comparo (Rs.1300 vs.425), but Yamalube rocks guys, I strongly recommend it atleast to the tourers.

@Vibhanshu: I will be going on Friday to Pearl to get the chain lubed&also enquire about the 2 weird noises in my bike.
      Quench my thirst with gasoline!

          • Good news...

Just got a call from Mr. Satyanarayana, Yamaha Area Sales Manager. My spare key is on its way from Delhi!
So finally the multiple phone calls&gentle persuasion have done their trick!

@vinoddt1: I was talking about Yamalube chain spray buddy, not the engine oil!

              Congos dude!
Now that you've saved 1 grand on the new lockset, the Yamalube chain spray has worked out as much as the Motul one for you..
              Cheers!

Hmm, what about the busted LEDs then? I still have to pay 1K for those!
Anyways, this is good as I wouldn't have been able to get the exact same key elsewhere.

                • Hey guys,

Slight help. Was checking the chain today. Surprisingly there was a lot of play, I tried moving it up with the keychain & saw that it moved quite a bit. Have attached a picture of the same.

Will poking my head around, I noticed that the chain is resting on the top of half chain guard. Is it supposed to be this way, cant seem to remember whether this was the case earlier. Have attached a picture of the same. Any reason to be worried ? Thanks.

Hehehehe.. Can't offset the 1 grand against both (Yamalube & LEDs).. But still, you saved on the lockset na..
Set it off against anything of your choice..

Sarvajit is going this Friday. You can join him.

@souvikb83: Gice some time to your bike to settle down with the changes. It takes a lot of time for R15 to adjust itself.

Guys can someone help me here ? Am a bit worried about the chain.

All it takes is a peek under the errr rear.
