2nd thing the code 46 implies the injector is not getting signals from the ecu but you said the display goes down and won't come up even you connect it with another battery so my suggestion is check for the wire that goes from the ignition lock set and ends in a black rubber pouch located in the right side of the chassis near the t stem it happens that the connector becomes loose and may disconnect leading to black outs
    CHEERS
I did try every connector even tried the one connecting speedometer but if the lock set would have any issues the bike wont have started in the first place anyways the meter has been given to a specialist and he has said that the main IC is overheating I might need a new speedometer if anythin is wrong with the main IC

My r15 rear tyreis due for change, currently using MRF nylogrip zapper C 120 /80 17.
Now i want to switch to stock tyre, visit Mrf dealer last week.found mrf nylogrip zapper s 100/80 17.price is 1800rs. which width seems 140 section not 100.
Is this is the right tyre for v1 . A dealer told me that it should be for front tyre not for rear.
Is it prone to puncture as seems thin rubber.
Pls suggest best in stock size.

Hey guys just wanted to ask a thing. If i remove the fuel tank to clean my oil filter, will the fuel spill from the botton of the tank?

Oil filter is on the brake side of the crank case.

I guess you're referring to the fuel filter, yes it would spill, I usually change the whole thing, after draining the tank, did'nt even bother removing it.

Never spill patrol by removing fuel supply hose pipe goes to injector.
But be careful while removing lock from fuel pump.

No the tank would not leak when taken out. But you have to be carefull when u unlock the fuel pump pipe from under the tank. Dont damage it nor pull it hard if unable to take it out. Its delicate n its expensive brother

A few snaps taken after last servicing.

Where did you get the large rotor and that calliper mounting bracket?
Can you tell me the prices too?

I prepare these kinda headlamps for bikes .
U can simply apply rubber adhesive or silicone with help of glue gun. Use heat gun for heating the silicone which already is there and again attach reflector and front glass end .
                      hope this helps.

                            Hello guys!
                            Greetings from Singapore.

Have been religiously following this thread for about a year now and only registered recently after facing this minor issue.

Here is my bike as introduction.

I had a accident about 2 weeks back involving a car hitting me from the side causing me to skid and fall on the left.

Got fairing replaced, headlight cowl and I noticed that when steering my bike towards the left, the handlebar is able to steer till it "crushes" my fingers between the tank. On the right, it has no issue as the maximum turning radius allows my fingers to be within a safe distance from the tank.

                            Here are some pictures

Any idea on what could the issue be?

                            Thanks in advance guys!

The LHS clip-on handlebar is bent.
While replacing, do check for fork action and also if the bike veers to one side/wobbles on releasing the handle while riding.

What exactly problems there in your bike.little sounds change when lihgts switched on is normal. If it makes much sound then u have to check left side crank case cover having alternator for some loosen part.
Engine heating and power lose may be due to the above problem.
Also check engine oil for replacement.
