Re: Yamaha YZF-R15
Please make sure that the manufacturing date is recent as old tyres kept in a place for more than a year would become really hard. Just make sure the quality is good.Originally posted by PsyDev View PostFinally a friend finds out a place to get stock set. #saviour

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15
Try Michelin pilot sporty 90/90 17 . I have installed this 10000 kms back in r15 v1 2010 model. Its ultimate even in wet surface.Originally posted by shane#1 View PostTry Michelin or Pirelli I'll also start searching about it in next 4-5 months

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15
I dont think so they sell the tool kit, but then if you have good rapport at the service center they may be able to do something about it.Originally posted by chiyaanchinnu View PostHello all,
Somehow I have lost my toolkit, can I buy it again from the Yamaha SVC Spares?? Do they sell the toolkit?

I have one more issue. Why my bike is leaking coolant like from head? I'm supposed to do a DIY job of changing the coolant. Do I need to take the bike to SVC?

R15 fuel pump not working
Hello fellow xbhpians, I recently came back from my college in Pune to jammu , my hometown after 9 months and my R15 which wasn't started for those 9 months didn't start at all. I started with charging the dead battery. Now the ignition was there and the engine started on my first try, I rode the bike in my parking area a little then I turned it off and tried again after a few hours now the bike didn't start after the ignition. I tried for 2..3 days but nothing hapoened , then I took the bike on a goods carrier auto to Yamaha SVC and the mechanic told me that the fuel pump isn't working there must've been a short circuit and it has to be replaced and costs 10,000 rupees :0 . I just want to know can the fuel pump be repaired by any chance ?? Or I also read about the bike running on carburetor?? Please help :/ as I'm a student and can't afford that fuel pump.
