Do we need to clean the chain in case of rust everytime....and then we should apply the lube ....or we must clean the rust from zorik or something which prevents rust and then apply the lube....please advice guys

        cheers

Brother, i have a P-200 and i used to face the same issue with motul lubes. So what i do now is clean the chain with Motul chain cleaner and apply SAE 90 grade gear oil for the chain. This works wonders and from my experience it is better than the Motul chain lube. Just give it a try u'll likely to find the difference.

          • Please help me, urgent!

I need some help. Its been a month long since I got my bike booked and paid for it.. But there is still no sign of midnight black. Today i got a call from the showroom guy that this time.. blue color has arrived.. so guys whoever have seen it in flesh.. i guess the blue one is their older racing blue with no rim stripes.. and probably the same old grilled radiator and a sluggish horn still mounted on it. Please confirm it...
thanks in advance... And not to forget they do have the new Sunset Red R15.. which i dont like a bit...
So probably.. i will have to settle for blue and i might give a second thought on the red one as well.. if the blue is not promising...
Just sick of this people out here for the cheap marketing strategy that they undertake...

DUDE! My experience with Motul Chain lube has been brilliant so far *touch wood*
Can you check if you are on stock chains, and did they already have rust when you took the bike?

For now I would suggest if that every 500Kms you clean the chain by motul chain clean... if possible, get the bike and chain washed thoroughly as well... and clean it with jet spray!

Apply the Motul Lube generously, not only on the link, but on the front sprocket, rear sprocket, and also the links of the chain!
just dont touch the chain after thereon till its time for another DIY job!
