    Hey Moto, first of all Congrats for the Bike. Its an amazing Bike man.

    Now by the temperature warning light you mean to say the right most light on the console right? if thats coming ON and OFF then you should head to the nearest Service Center and get it checked bro, as it is not normal. The light only comes ON when the engine is overheated.

    Though more experienced R15ers would be of more help so wait a bit for there response

      Check the coolant level there have been instances where the new bike coming from the showroom has been low on the coolant.

        Get the bike checked for:
        1) Coolant level
        2) Radiator fan relay. Maybe the fan isn't cutting in at slow/standstill situations.
        You get the point?? :D

            Check if he has the feeler gauge-they look like blades.
            It has measurements on it, since the accuracy level is of utmost importance
            0.10 mm for inlet&
            0.20 mm for exhaust.
            Also ask him to be very careful while disconnecting the fuel pump connector.

                  well..there are more than 2 R15s in bhubaneswar with the new colour combination..! I was going to opt for that colour...but..i was told that i would have to wait a bit more..and as i had already run out of patience i went ahead with black..!
                  but to my disappointment the new white-red combination arrived just 2 days after...!
                  i saw the the bike in flesh..and i thought it looked better than the yellow colour..!

                  but i am really happy that i went ahead with black..!

                    A new query

                    I just crossed 500 kms. According to the manual..i was told not to go over the 5000rpm mark till the 1st 500 kms..which i followed very obediently
                    what mileage did u guys get..when you were within the 1st 500 kms...?
                    i got an average of around 38-39.

                    and now that it's crossed 500 kms..i can push it till 7500rpm..which i already did today. I was very careful not to cross the limit.
                    Will there be a noticeable change in mileage now..?

                    And one more thing..will there be any problems..if i push the bike farther in each gear..as in is it ok to reach the 7500rpm range in every gear..including 1st , 2nd and all..?

                      hii guys...

                      i am facing an issue....
                      Sometimes while downshifting, the gears jam...
                      jam as in it gets stuck so i need to accelerate to get into the proper gear.


                      Is it generic with all the bikes or is it due to my riding style????

                      Pleas e reply...

                        by "jam" did you mean..that the gear doesn't move at all..? Or did u mean..that the gear moves..but doesn't fall in place..?

                          What happens with me most of the time is that..i put the bike to a complete halt..and then try to down shift lots of gears to get it to neutral or 1st..! Whenever i do this..the gear doesn't fall in place at times..and i have to accelerate and move the bike a little forward and then try again..so that the gear falls in place..!

                                Hi Guys,
                                Got my RED Baby R1 on Monday, Till now i have completed Only 100 KMs. i wasn't Keeping well for 2 day so couldn't take her out with me. I felt the bike very Responsive and very Eye catching. The Blazing red Oh i love it. I am enjoying a lot of attention now. I thought that won't happen as R15 was around quite sometime now ..But to my Surprise i had Three guys, came to me asking for the price and the Mileage ETC. Even at petrol bunks such things happend. also whenever i park the bike i can see people coming in and checking out My Bike. OMG I'm truly Loving it.. Even Couple of times i had another R15 (Black) along side with me but. people didn't even bother about it. they were into My BABY(Note: R15 Black Owners.. This is my experience which i had Mentioned here, so please don't feel bad at me . I Know that what is under the hood Matters, not the color)..
