Almost all bikes have this type of bulbs for their pilot lamps & console lamps. The older ones base would be like a regular light bulb... this one would have a flat base...Originally posted by souvikb83 View Postif i go to a shop for buying these tiny bulbs...what exactly should i ask for???i mean what should i tell the shopkeeper to give?
pull out the pilot lamp from ur R15 and see it for yourself... and show to the shopkeeper if needed! it takes just a few seconds.. no tools needed.

hi guys....after having a good look at all the 110 pages of this thread i am really scared about in what condition my R15 would be in....i have come to delhi for my vacations...and i study in pune...and the bike is standing still there...its been like now about 1 month...R15 --1 month dead without any ignition...thats very sad..i feel bad about my little baby....do you guys think when i get back to pune...there will be a total battery drain out....????...and i also wanted to ask you guys something about the gear shifting...when i shift from 1st to the second...most of the times it gets stuck to neutral....why is that....how can i solve this problem...
and regarding the accessories of the R15...everything is available at the factory owned showroom in saket..the citi select mall....from the rear seat cowl to the led position lights and also the racing stand...
hoping for sum help...thanks guys...

What was the problem? what made you change the oil at 400 km? many people here told that it is a good oil (did not mention for an R15, but still!) and Motul cannot be that bad either... so curious to know.Originally posted by archibaby View Postnope .. 3000 4T plus 20W40 .. no synthetic for me until 5K + KM.
May be not. I left the bike aside for 15 days once and with the first push it started without a hitch... one battery shop wala told me that this battery holds more charge and holds it longer. not sure how correct he is!Originally posted by abiarora View Postdo you guys think when i get back to pune...there will be a total battery drain out....????
Check the clutch cable adjustment.when i shift from 1st to the second...most of the times it gets stuck to neutral....why is that....how can i solve this problem...

^^I have tried. It just hits the silencer if u use it as it is. U need another 2 - 3 inches of height on the rear seat. I solved it by using a pillow on the rear seat, tying it with bungee cords and put the saddle bag on top of that. But the bike wobbles a bit at high speeds and aerodynamics goes for a major toss!Democracy is when 2 wolves and a sheep meet to decide who is for dinner. Liberty is when the sheep has a gun.

Santoosh, anyone else???I used them multiple times and for one long ride tooo... no problems... aerodynamics do take a little hit.. u won't be able to cross 125 kmph but the convenience u get is great... with similar amount of luggage and not using saddle bags, I cannot drive peacefully!!! No height problems... they don't hit anything (check photos below) and no wobbling at all when I hit 120+ speeds continuously for hours together or take ghat road corners at 90+ speeds. Yes, gotta be a little more careful than without luggage.Originally posted by Aparajith View Post^^I have tried. It just hits the silencer if u use it as it is. Yes, place a soft cloth on the side panels before you tie the saddle bags to save the panels from rubbing off the paint sheen... this is unavoidable on almost any bike with side panels. You can see the cloth I used in the pics.

Please do not use that for ur R15. Get Power1 Racing or call me tomorrow for Sprinta 4T 5000.Originally posted by onlinesatish View PostPower 1!
