As for the vibrations, do you have engine vibrations or body? Did you run her in properly? Do you redline most of the time? There are some others here who have the same issue due to redlining too...You can't use the whip on her&expect her to smile back at you, can you?
My bike also has some vibrations , because of improper run in.. Anyways to rectify it??

      • i had my rear disk pads changed at the weekend... the pad was worn out completely even though it had done only 6k kms... had it changed at Pacer... they didn't charge for labour and also lubed my chain for free, which was surprising from a Yamaha dealer

                      • Yamalube

Finally got my chain cleaned and lubricated using the Yamalube from the Yamaha Pro service company center in Pune. The chain had to be cleaned with petrol to remove the sticky Motul lube I had been using so far as advised by the M.P Yamaha guys in Pune during my first servicing. The cleaning and lubrication together cost me 200Rs. but the chain noise has disappeared and the bike also feels a lot smoother. For all those who had asked for more information about the Yamalube, well this "Dry Type" lube forms a white layer on top of the chain which not only lubricates the chain but also protects it from rust and moisture. This moisture resistant quality of the lube makes it perfect for open O-ring type chains. My source is Mr. Yunus, who is one of the main mechanics at the service center.

Get the tappet adjusted and make sure the chain slag is correct.. It should run fine after this

700 looks reasonable. Let me check how much it costs in Indonesia am sure it will be 1/2 the price there.

the breaks work awesome.just love it.cant stop breaking. had braked hard on mysore road a guy came and banged from the rear tail lamp glass broke.. cost just 150 bucks ..

You mentioned that you are about to go for your third servicing. I feel the vibrations maybe because your engine oil has lost its viscosity. I am sure once you change the oil, your bike will be a lot smoother and with notably less vibrations. Also check if you are experiencing vibrations in your bike as a whole or is it just the wind screen because the screen does tend to vibrate a lot especially if you have removed the front number plate.

i do not entertain modifying my bike against what yam aha has given me...and therefore i did not remove or added anything in my bike (remove of number plate etc.)...frankly speaking it takes a lot of time now to touch 100kmph...unlike r15
